I've got everything ready, except I haven't been able to fix my wings yet. They broke last year....one of the wires came loose, and now my left wing hangs funny. But other than that, I think I just have to wash out my pipers pub bottle and I'll be good.

not doing very much to get ready yet. everything we've got seems to be in order anyway so not much to do, which is a good thing. Ooh, just think of it, only a couple of days left to wait! Can't wait to see all our friends and share a mug or two of ale again!!!!

Gather costume pieces. Decide what out of it I want to wear. Practice rat-pucking. Repair any damage garments. Brush up on dialect and florification of speech. Make sure everything still fits. Peace-tie stuff. Save up money. Put gel insoles in bottom of boots. Clean out large piper's pub bottle. Seal all entrances and exits. Cancel the 3-ring circus. Secure all animals in the zoo.

Last night I had to create the floral wreath for my head peice, from scratch. Yeah...ow my hands....it looks nice though. I still have to make my mask, fix my dress, and trim up the wreath....sheesh....probably should Mink Oil my shoes too now that I think of it. Can't wait!!!!

Realizing that my plan for a few things I'm working on failed to take into account certain other aspects of my life and had a few other general flaws. Now trying to back up, look at things differently and still attempt to get them done while holding the rest of life in order.
Why can't I just put up a general stop sign for life while faire season is on?

Aaaaack!
Must get Amber to finish my hat, buy lots of beef jerky, buy green food dye, dye some jerky green, waterproof my jerkypockets somehow, beg Hank to sandblast my cleaver (again!), fuss with leather and cord to put a safety cap thing on the end of the meathook so no one gets jabbed, find an eating knife of some sort, find a bowl/plate to eat on (and drill a hole in it so I can hook it on my belt), and figure out what to do for a mask!
