Hey, we really need you to post your verses for Drunken Sailor. The ones you made up for the different cast members. That way they are not forgotten.

Hopefully JR (Rusty) will be able to get to a computer soon, but I know he's doing a ton of job hunting today and will be in Columbus for a week starting tomorrow... so I'll post the ones I know. A lot of these were group efforts.
What do you do with a drunken pooka? What do you do with a drunken pooka? What do you do with a drunken pooka Early in the morning?
Wake her up and feed her field mice, Wake her up and feed her field mice, Wake her up and feed her field mice, Early in the morning.
(Chorus) Hey, hey, up she rises Hey, hey, up she rises Hey, hey, up she rises Early in the morning.
Other Verses:
What do you do with the pirate Binky... Shave his bollocks with a rusty razor...
What do you do with the Captain Florez... Put him in a dress and call him Sally...
What do you do with the pirate Polly... Put her on a rack and stretch her taller...
What do you do with the good innkeeper... Burn down all his inns now...
What do you do with the gypsy Rayke... Put her in the cabin with the good innkeeper... Have you seen the good innkeeper... He looks like an orangutan...
What do you do with the lady mayor... Elevate her current station... Hoist her to the mast of the Jolly Roger...
What do you do with the good Queen Gwennie... Give her a sword and send her to slaughter...
What do you do with the good King Arthur... Lock him in the tower with the evil wizard...
(Sung when the duke's out of earshot:) What do you do with the good Duke Waynewright... Take him to the pub and get him drunk now... Kick him in the belly till he pukes his guts out... Catch it in a bucket and make him drink it...
(Alternatively, the following is sung when he's within hearing:) What do you do with the good Duke Waynewright... Sing him his own anthem... (A few bars of the Imperial March are played)
What do you do with the good duke's daughter... Tie her up and sell her to gypsies...
What do you do with a lusty minstrel... Put him between the duke and his daughter...

Individuals who didn't have a verse in Drunken Pooka generally have their own song; for instance, "Dirk's Buccaneers" (which I'll post if JR doesn't, if he allows) for Capt. Dirk / Numbah 2, and "Mistress Mary" (not sure of actual title) for Mary Braum the jailor (Mistress Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow... etc). The fae have "Ladies Fair of Arcadia". Not sure who else has what.

he also wrote another song for father, and their's this one he sang about how knighthood sucks. I personally love being a knight.

Thank you for posting those. Hopefully JR will be back again next season (and be a minstrel again) Then we can get the lyrics earlier and some of the audience can join in on these

Hopefully he won't mind this, because I forgot to ask permission, but I know if I leave it up to JR then y'all will probably never get these lyrics. So...

Dirk's Buccanneers (to the tune of Barret's Privateers)
Oh the year was eleven-ninety-nine (And I wish I was in Dublin now...) When I signed away from the land of green to the scummiest vessel that ere I seen.
[Chorus] Beshrew them all! I was told we'd Scourge the seas for Spanish gold, we'd Fire some guns, skin some beards! Now I'm a broken man on a Cornwall pier Just one of Dirk's ol' buccaneers!
Now Tiberius Dirk was a violent man. (And I wish I was in Dublin now...) And he stood and sipp-ed his fetid ale, while the four-pounders rain'd their deathsome hail.
[Chorus]
The Enterprize had a cutthroat crew. (And I wish I was in Dublin now...) And Dirk did direct this loathesome band. He rul'd us all with an iron hand!
[Chorus]
Now a little bloodshed suits me fine. (And I wish I was in Dublin now...) Yet they slaughter'd women and children sweet, long after the battle had lost its heat.
[Chorus]
And so one night we put to port. (And I wish I was in Dublin now...) And the Cap'n went out and drank his fill, and the next day two of our boys been kill'd!
[Chorus]
So aft' two years me choice was made. (And I wish I was in Dublin now...) And I took me share of the booty bright, and I stole away on a crisp, cold night!
[Chorus]
Beshrew them all!

"Ladies Fair of Arcadia" (copyright © 2005 Flaming Sword Publications)
Forest deep and forest dark, hiding your secret pure Leaves of green in the canopy filtering sunlight sure In this sea of light and shadow sings a gentle song Living music, color, light lingering ere so long.
Ladies fair of Arcadia, land of song and mist Bring the light of love again, bring your peaceful bliss From the red-dark of war and death do I make my call Ladies fair of Arcadia, tear down this hate-some wall.
Ladies fair of Arcadia, hope we find in you Courts of winged panoply, good in all you do Fright'ning still the darkness nears us brought by man and fae Gentle visage of the dawn, come, all harm to stay!

My only comment on if he comes back: What else COULD he be? It's impossible for him not to play music.

From what I understand, he's planning to come back, so likely he will, but you never know what can happen in a year. And who knows if he'll be a minstrel, but he'll probably be playing and singing all over the shire no matter what he's cast as. *grins*
Now, I'm just hoping he doesn't convince Brook to let him play Fromage de Colby...
