I really want to visit for closing weekend this year - but I can't make both Saturday AND Sunday. Are there any differences in the daily events? Are the Scottish games being held both days? I know the rat pucking tournament is Saturday.....
Basically, I need to make a decision and I need some advice!!! So, Saturday or Sunday??

Scheduled event-wise, both days will be the same. Non-scheduled event-wise, just like any other day, you never know what might happen.
The Rat Pucking Tourney is Saturday, leaving Sunday for the winner to gloat.
Saturday is the last Saturday and therefore the last after hour Brew-Ha-Ha. Sunday is the last Sunday and therefore the day that people don't want to end.
Hrm. Why can you make both? Maybe you should base your decision on what you would do on your off-day instead of what's going on at faire for your on-day. Heh.

Final weekend for me is always such a mixed bag. It is always the most fun, the most craziest weekend. It is also the saddest because it won't happen again for almost a year. And some of the friendly faces won't be back again

And some of the friendly faces won't be back again Do you know something, Trevor? Or are you just being realistic......as in, people's lives change/end/etc. and they move on........ I'm kind of an "emotional overload" kind of gal, myself.......partial to the Sunday pub sing. No matter what else I may have missed out on during the season, I like to see how things END, you know? I don't know anything solid about anyone not coming back. But it happens every year. Cast members move on. They finish college and have to get a real job, so they can't play at faire anymore. People move away, too far to come back more than once or twice during the season. It's the nature of the beast.
