I'm afraid I did not enjoy Shae Laurel as so many others. This isn't a bash on them though. They were all very accomplished musicians, they just weren't my style.
E Muzeki I'm pretty much addicted to. Also very accomplished musicians and I enjoy their sound immensely.
If I could remember the name, I'd list another music group from Michigan that we enjoyed, but it's not in my head at the moment. I'll have to find Kris' disc and come back to it.
EDIT: I found it! I found it! The name of the group I wanted to mention above is Djilia Phralengo!

I would love to hear the Gypsy Guerilla Band again. I think they were at GLMF once long before I became a season passer...they sound so much better live than on CD.

As I was getting homesick for Avaloch, I watched an oooooollldd video of GLMF this weekend, from 1997 that a friend had made and given me. Who's been around long enough to remember Tuberculo, and Jackie Tappit, and Marshall Lawe, and Queen Berengaria, etc. etc.? And yes, Gypsy Guerrilla Band was in it too. This is even pre-Owain! Back before the first expansion was even done. Before even Penfold!
There were wonderful things about this place back then, just wonderful. But there are wonderful things about it now too, just different. Can't wait to see y'all!!

Before Penfold perhaps, but not before Brian.
I remember ALL of them. Wait, no, I don't recall Gypsy Guerrilla Band, but I remember the rest!

Lots of people pre-date me! =) But it's fun to still find one of Tuberculo's rocks sitting somewhere and laugh because I know where it came from.
I've only been around the faire for, hrm, 10 years now? I think that's right. So if you've been at faire longer than that, I am pre-dated! Heh heh. And only one of those was I a patron, I got sucked in after my first year's visit.
Pre-dated. Heh heh. That just sounds like some weird new thing like speed dating. My brain will have to contemplate what it would be, perhaps we found a new money making machine of trendy doom!

This will be my 12th season going to and/or being involved with the faire. So I definitely pre-date you. Whatever that may mean!
Should you make money at "pre-dating", just remember who gave you the idea! ;-)
