Would anyone happen to know of a good place (website, shop, anything!!!) to find a really unique mask for the fifth weekend? I've got a nice one, but it looks ridiculous with my new costume this year. Anything will be appreciated. Thanks!

OK, I'm going to try really hard not to be negative, but inquiring minds want to know...
Why spend extra money on themes that are not supported by the PTB?
Did anyone ever find the beer slides this weekend?
We were curious about the beer tasting, but saw nothing to "sell" us or direct us, until I happened to step around the end of Stunble Inn and saw a small flyer telling me that the tastings were at specific times, for an extra cost. Not exactly what the pre-faire publicity led you to expect.
Last year we really wanted to participate in one of the special events. we asked at the ticket booth--blank looks. Asked at the gate--got told to read the program. Resorted to stopping cast members, including officers--finally, after it was over, saw Richard and he told us what and where it had been.
Last year's Masquerade weekend they passed out masks at the gate, which were the only visible signs that anything "special" was happening.
Now, I'm not ranting just to be negative. But I'm contiually frustrated by the lack of attention paid to informing patrons. If the themes/special events were marketed well, both outside and inside the Faire, they could bring extra income and patronage to the Faire, which would benefit all of us

I know the year Melencolia and Penfold were in charge of the extra contests they had a heck of a time getting people to participate. so instead of putting extra flyers in the program or posting the events for the week someplace prominent it seems that they have done away with them all together this year.
I didn't even know about the beer tasting until several patrons passing by said they were going to beer school and didn't have time for sword school...
there were 4 patrons who had only bought a one day pass because they didn't know SS would be there this year. they went and bought season passes once they found out we were in fact in the program:)
