For those that were not at the last seminar. It is not definite that Sword School will be back in the upcoming year (2005). Long story short, after 4 years of doing faire for free, Sword School would like some compensation this year. No one knows if faire management will agree to this though.
So if you want Sword School back again, take a few momments and drop the faire a note telling them how much you enjoyed it and want to see it back again. Email them at questions@medievalfaire.com or brookhall@medievalfaire.com
Or better yet, phone them at 1-888-MEDIEVAL I am sure a phone call would carry a little more weight than an email.
For those that prefer to actually mail a letter:
Great Lakes Medieval Faire PO Box 376 Rock Creek, OH 44084
Memories are short. So reminding the faire just how important Sword School is can only help.

Turk hasn't had Jenna set up an account for him yet (we all know how computer literate he is ) Cy, well, you know what it is like getting Cy motivated to do anything I'm sure when faire season starts, he might be coaxed. As to if they will be back. Still no news. Turk promised to let me know if anything was finalized. Last I heard nothing was final yet (this was after the announcement on the faire board. They were negotiating though)

Yes we will be having sword school the weekend of April 16 - 17. On the 16th we will have 2 certification classes. The classes are to be held at Geauga Park's Bass Lake Preserve Lodge. (thanks to hank and bunny) Building is heated and carpeted. Each class contains information and techniques taught to police, military, and martial arts personel. The first class will be Spontaneous Knife Defense and will be HIGHLY interactive. The second will be on Pressure Points and their practical uses. Cost is $25 each class. (cert classes are usually $90) Both courses will run about 3 hours each and attendees will receive certifications of training. We return home to Hank and Bunnys on sunday the 17th for a day of sword school teaching. We will be covering new things that will be taught this year at Hank and Bunnys as well as GLMF SS. Bring you thinking caps everybody. Cost is $20 And of course bring FOOOOOD!!

While the whole post is great news, this particular line caught my eye. We will be covering new things that will be taught this year at Hank and Bunnys as well as GLMF SS. Am I reading this correctly?
