This will be a short weekend for me. have to work Sunday and odds are good I will not be popping in that day (or will be cleverly in theme dressed as a 21st century guy)
Capt. Stout is gonna be here though! Weather should be much more tolerable and the rain should be through by saturday. Gotta go find my goggles now.

FINALLY! I got a chance to go to faire this year! Here are my selfish observations.
First and foremost I had a BLAST. It was a beautiful day Saturday everyone seemed like they were in a good mood. For me it couldn't have been better.
Was nice to see Captain Stout. Got to sit and listen to him sing for a while.
I know its not good for business but I liked the fact that it wasn't overly crowed.
I did feel bad for a few of the stage acts. The crowds seemed to be a bit thin and I love the people that get up and rush out just so they don't have to tip. FOR GODS SAKES GIVE EM A BUCK YOU CHEAPSKATES! THEY WORK HARD FOR YOU! (Sorry. Lost my mind for a second)
Loved the wienerschnitzel sandwich.
Wish there was even more music. I hate to say it but I have gone so many years I don't often sit thru a stage act unless they are new (BTW - Odd seeing the queen singing bawdy songs but I got over it quickly). I love the music.
They need to add some picnic tables to the adult area. Let people linger in the shade there.
And last but not least... Axel has the best shot glasses in the world. Not one single leak.

This weekend was most excellent! Saturday's weather was about the best we can seriously hope for considering the time of year. Saw lots of old friends making an appearance Got to get to know some of the new cast a little better, and interact with them a bit. Even saw a few shows. Including Penfold dinner theater. And everyone seemed to be in a great mood! Pub sing keeps getting better. Even without Owain there, it was still fun. Sunday saw even more old friends popping up. Spent a lot of time visiting and catching up. Think the only show we saw was the 3 o'clock joust. We even missed pub sing, because we were having so much fun just visiting. Can't wait until next weekend!

Had a good time this weekend. Missed Owain. He is on the mend. Saturday was the best last song, it was nice to see everyone up walking around on clicking glasses again. Was happy to see Capt Stout back, missed him. Everyone keep up the good work. Bunnie

Just going to send out a couple of special thank yous.
To the Chess Cast, The bawdy song crew, and The Plunder Dogs... Thanks for taking your efforts and turning them into donations to help out Owain. In a season when audiences are small, it's a very generous thing to do. (And if I missed a group that did the same, Thanks to you as well)
There are about 4 first year cast members I finally got to talk to a bit between their many duties, thanks to you all as well for putting in your effort and doing what you are doing. you made the weekend extra fun and memorable.
thanks to Trevor for filming that joust. It deserves to be preserved for eternity.
and if you were there, thanks for coming, it would be a bit weird if I was the only person in the park.
