Thank you for the wonderful update Sir Trevor. I'm dyin to get there.
I don't really miss the joust but I know newbie's like that stuff. Time will be the only indicator if it is really missed.
I miss the Naughty Nymphs. Anyone remember them? They were one of my all time favorites.

Question...
Did I miss something? Are there any "Man Powered" rides this year? Tried to reach all corners of the Faire on Sunday so I wasn't sure...

Capt. Morgan, There is 1 (one) ride. It is a set of swings. They are right next to the pony rides and the wooden pirate play area.

LOL! Not really what I meant. I was just curious because the radio promo I heard on WDOK this morning for GLMF touted "Man Powered Rides" and we haven't had those for 2 years now...

I know the faire was in negotiations with a company to do games and rides. I know things fell through before opening. MAybe they worked things out, or got another company.

On the eve of the second weekend, I wanted to point out some positive aspects of the first.
Thank you to THIS forum for letting me know I can bring in a soft cooler. This made things easier than the mud walk to my car which is always the last in the row of cars. Seriously, I park in the very last spot. At least I can always remember where my car is. In the Pluto lot.
Near the Friar Tuck area I met a woman in charge of the special events. She asked, "I see you here a lot, are you having fun?" She wanted feedback from a regular patron. That was the first time someone from the staff asked my opinion and I thought that was cool.
My brother said he saw a family of four come to see the Magical Mayhem magician too late. The performer basically did his whole show for this one family. They tipped him well.
I liked the fact that the younger kids have shows just for them (Fool Hearty) and the adults do too (Axel's R-rated). I saw both.

Capt. Morgan, LOL. It is a man powered swing. He set up 5 "sky chair" looking swings like a Merry-go-Round. He is the only ride guy at Faire this season. He said he MAY have another ride later on.
