Scarlett my dear, your address could use a little work as not everyone uses a GPS devise. If it is being held in the same place as last year then the location is Kittanning Pennsylvania.
For those of you coming from Ohio, you would maybe want to take I-80 over to PA. go South on I-79 to the U.S. Route 422 exit. Follow 422 East to Kittanning, then take PA. route 66 South to Crooked Creek Nat. Rec. Area.
Bunnie and I attended this last year and had a hell of a great time. I can only hope the weather is as good for you this time as it was then. Last year the temps were in the mid to high 70's folks, it was a gorgeous evening. We may try to attend again this year if we are not so buried in by snow by then that we can't find our cars. I not kidding about that folks. It has just been snowing, and snowing, and snowing, and snowing ad infinitum here, with no apparent end in sight.

Hank - I just cut & pasted the info from FaceBook. Didn't even notice the GPS line! I admit I got written directions last year and got lost, spending about 20-30 mins sight seeing the local backroads. LOL. Luckily, I DID get a GPS for Christmas. I hope it gets me there without a problem this year. Stay warm guys! I hope the snow melts enough for your guys to make the trip this year. Last year it was in March I think.

Scarlett...Just be careful with the GPS luv. There was a story in the news recently about a couple out West in Oregon, or Idaho that spent the weekend stuck in the snow in E. Bumfucistan because their GPS sent them the wrong way. I don't know if I would totally rely on them.
You are correct. Last year it took place the first weekend of March. So this years is a week earlier. Like I said, we would love to attend again, as last years was absolutely great, but I am not going to fight this weather all the way there and back. But! Maybe we'll get lucky and it could be nice by then. One can only hope.

For those of you looking for a little more information about this event, go down this page a few topics and look for PITTSBURGH WINTER RENSTOCK INVITATION. That is Scarlett's posting from last year and it has directions and a couple of listings you can click on that will tell you about it in some detail. Hope this helps someone out.

I would have to disagree with your statement Dill. I have NO first hand experience with GPS so I cannot speak about them. But I have had a good deal of experience with Mapquest and other such services, and I found their routing from point A to B to be some of the most round about, convoluted way to get somewhere I have ever seen. Those folks wouldn't know a direct route if it bit em in the ass.

I agree with Hank. Mapquest directions for me to get to the Ashtabula Mall from my house take me waaaaay out of the way. All the way through town, south to 90 then west over to 11, back down norht to 20 then back east to the mall. 19 miles 1 way. When all I have to do is go 2 blocks north to 531. Take that west to 193. Then south to 20, then to the mall. 13.5 miles.
The online maps are not worth it if you have any knowledge of the area at all.

The GPS 's are OK --except, they tend to direct you the long way out. We drove to Amish Country last NOV, it calculates alright, the LOOONNNNG way...Just my .02

It's getting closer people! Is anyone planing to attend? I know Pirates Dave & Jen are not (boo hiss!) - my son told me after playing PS3 online yesterday with Jen.
Hank? Bun? Any chance we'll see you guys? Newcomers are welcome! It's a super fun, inexpensive ($5 includes entrance and overnight accommodations if needed). Lots of friends in garb, and great live entertainment!
Hope to see some of you there!

I doubt very much that we will be attending this year Scarlett my dear. I don't know what the weather is like over there but it pretty much sucks so bad in this area it would not be a pleasant drive to and from there. Shame too, I really enjoyed last years party. maybe next year you folks should hold this later in the year when there is at least a reasonable possibility of good weather. February pretty much sucks in this part of the country.

Glad to hear it went well for you. Sorry we had to miss it, but we were pretty much buried in snow up here. Keep us informed if you do it again next year (hopefully at a later date, so the weather MIGHT be good.) and if possible we will try and make it. It is a great party.
