As a couple of us were discussing last weekend, this fiasco will not end until these trustees are removed from office.. And this necessitates them being voted out.
I think they gave ample ammunition to get voted out tonight... However, due to the nature of elections, that's not enough...
Theoretical scenario: There end up 7 people running for trustee. Everyone that wants to vote against Tamborino and Clay have 5 others to split their vote on. Tamborino and Clay still probably win on plurality. (Most # of votes) .... More people running helps the incumbents, who have name recognition on their side.
If there are only 4 people running, for two spots, all those voting against Tamburino and Clay vote for the other two, making sure that they have more votes than either of the incumbents.
I think it more likely the first scenario happens.. At which point, the election is to get two particular people elected, and not a "non-Tamborino/Clay" drive.
Sooooo... Do the residents here have two candidates that they want to see as trustee? If so, we need to put all our backing on those two, with a big push *for* them, and not just *against* Tamburino/Clay.
Thoughts?

I think at one time Larry had talked about running for a trustee spot, but I think he backed out since he is technically a Florida resident.

Well, Larry has a residence in Trumbull township, so why is he not a resident?.. Larry did run for trustee 4 years ago. I noticed that in the voting results for the last time Tamborino and Caly were elected.
But Larry wouldn't be the best of people to run.. It would likely be seen as a personal fight with Tamborino/Clay.. And if elected, Larry would be restricted in anything that may affect the Faire because of a conflict-of-interest. (Including removing the resolution.) And with such touchy things going on, it might not be a good thing for Larry to be directly involved, lest someone call "Shenanigans!"

There needs to be an investigation for corruption and misuse of power done. I'm sure there would be as much as there is in Cuyahoga County only on a smaller scale.
