Has anyone noticed that today the trumbull township websites states that the next meeting is not until November 25th. Can anyone confirm? I have been working on this for about the past 2 hours. Apparently, the trustees don't believe in updating the board, nor do they want contact from the outside world. I tried contacting them via the number on the web site, and I eventually get a fax machine.....very odd. I was hesitant to contact the trustees directly, I didn't want to cause too much "alarm" for them to change time, meeting place, block us out, etc. Instead, I contacted the fiscal clerk. Only to find after ringing, and ringing, and ringing, that her mailbox was full. Humph. I actually went the old fashioned route and picked up my copy of the yellow pages!!!! (Ah the joyous fun. I haven't used one of those in years. *L*) So, same phone number is in there. However, I did come across some information that the meetings are 8:00 on the Second and Fourth Thursdays of the month. (please see last page of pdf file) www.trumbulltownship.org/NEWSLETTER_ISSUE1.pdf

Please let me know how can assist. I am not from Trumbull, but willing to send letters and calls.
Idea- Positive statements from elected community leaders from other faires in Ohio.
Idea- the local wineries partnered with the faire 3 years ago or so. Would these "business" owners be rallied for support.
Idea- Positive statements from elected community leaders from faires in Ohio
Talking point- The faire is advertised in faire magazines and via other resources
Talking point- of the blank number of faire attendees, how many accidents, arrests, ect... i am assuming lower than "what might be assumed"

The advertising has been amazing.
Ive seen it 2x per nite, in between the 6pm news, right @ prime time..Also on WDOK...
If this heads south, just a figure of speech those wineries will shrivel up like a dried prune! Keep the Commerce in our towns!

I did verify that whatever they put on the sign and not the web is the correct date for the meeting. I also talked with a lady who told me everything they were mad about from the trustee dept. She is mad "everyone" works without a vendor's license, she is mad about young girls showing clevage, she is mad about people dressed in medieval attire at restaurants and cussing in front of small children, she is made that she says people get paid cash and never file taxes, she is madd that we are so happy and have so much fun. She said no one comes to the trustee's to show them their vendor's licence, and she wishes she could get everyones name who works here and get them in trouble. I asked her had she ever been to the faire before, and she no way I would never step foot in the place. I told her I will send her and her trustees especially Mr. Tamburinio 4 free tickets and to come in and see it first time and to check out the washing well wenches. We need to meet at the medieval faire on Wednesday, before the meeting, have one spokesperson . This is how the meeting will run, They open the floor for business, then they do open discussion, which is open to all the public, you do not need to be a resident of trumbull twp. to attend (per the board of elections). There is a case in litagation for the medieval faire. When they go into Executive Board at the meeting, all doors will be closed to the public. I did get the information on what you need to run against these people. You will need to pick up this info at the Office of the faire with Brittney or Shawnee. You need to be a resident of Trumbull Township and Be a registered voter. You will need 25-74 written signatures, No More, it will get thrown out. You will need to file a one time $30 Fee and the deadline for this is August 20. There are a few people already running but they have not filed or paid the filing fee. VERY IMPORTANT! You may have a person be the circulator anyone who would like to get the signatures. I would be happy to go door to door to help you do this. Ron Tamburino and Willis Clay are both up for re-election in November. The township has a lot of pull in the community but we can do this. They have to go. Plus this guy is an attorney and has been very hateful and vidictive for years. If you are interested, please check at the office for my number for a circulatory. I can only be one for one of the runners and the person running can not sign the petition. I wrote all three trustees and simply said to stop and to Forgive Larry, I also wrote our congressmen and women, and asked why this man is trying to get rid of jobs and something that is putting money in the economy. I also am getting the local business involved on how much money they will loose without this great place to come to. Please, people, NO ONE COME IN COSTUME TO THIS MEETING. This may send the wrong message and your costume weapons may be confiscated with such an important meeting. We cannot make this a hate meeting. If we show them love and understanding we will have a better chance. I'm pretty sure they will go into Executive Board very soon, you will only have 30 seconds to say what you have to say for the media, maybe ask What would make you happy, That's all for now, will keep in touch. Put flyers up, read the opine on Saturday's from the Star Beacon. Listen, to local radios, the stuff is going to hit the fans, especially after this meeting. As far as the road blocks, the Sheriff are just doing their jobs. Just don't DRINK AND DRIVE bring a DD with you. It's just not worth it. CAST MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES, STOP CUSSING WHEN YOU ARE IN PUBLIC IN COSTUME. We are always representing the faire, and three different people told me about this when I was handing out Halloween Knight flyers. CLEAN UP YOUR POTTY MOUTHS! You never know who is listening and may have come to the faire. LADIES, SOME CLEVAGE IS GOOD FALLING OUT IS TRASHY! WE KNOW YOU WANT TO FLAUNT IT AND GUYS WANT TO SEE IT, BUT KEEP IT CLEAN, THIS IS A FAMILY PLACE. Thanks everyone! John Lennon, said it best "All We Need Is Love!" Facts hold up, hearsay and BS wouldn't make us any better than them. BE Respectful! We don't have to agree with these people, but we need to show them we are better than them. Love you all, the Royal Registry Greeter

Yes, I talked with the zoning lady who attends these meetings regularly, she said the web page isn't always up to date. She did say to go by the date on the sign, that she was at the previous months meeting, and was there when they scheduled it. Even if these people don't show up, we will be there, our message will be heard. If they do not honor the time and date of the meeting, it is one more plus for us. Please read these before we keep doing the same thing. We are not trying to make these people madder, by all doing the same thing. We have to all work together and quit double duty. Work Smarter not harder. We will meet at 7 pm on Wednesday at the Feast Hall on August 12, to discuss all our info. I'll need to verify this but just plan on being there then. Thanks!

Cheryl thank you for your time and knowledge.
The attorney sad to say is a corporate suit and he works for Sherwin Williams.
Any mail should be directed to the Chairman and CEO of Sherwin Williams; CMConnor@Sherwin.com
Talk about faire ppl representing faire, what about Taburrino representing Sherwin Williams?
Only the young showing cleavage? What about us old broads? She needs to get a life-if she does not like it move away.Shes sounds like an old fuddie dudder, trying to keep it clean here folks.
Apparently she has not been to the MI RF or THE MD RF.
Let the CEO know what kind of suit represents them.

The meeting on the 13th is open to all--- am i correct.
From my understanding the "Sunshine Law" open door policy that public meetings, city, ect... are open to the public
i.e. if you are a voter, resident, ect...

This post is reserved for car-pooling logistics, as we do not want to overflow the parking area for the meeting. Yes, a large show of support is good, but not to the point where it is disruptive. If you do not determine your car-pooling arrangements otherwise, please try to arrange them ahead of time.. Trevor, if you would prefer, we can split this off into a separate thread. Otherwise, we can do it here if we follow these guidlines: DRIVERS: Post how many available seats you have in your vehicle. RIDERS: PM the driver to reserve a spot. Drivers: When your vehicle fills up, modify your post and/or reply to say it is filled. Drivers, park in front of the Office. Riders, park in the field. It will be easier to caravan out that way. If there are people that do not have rides there, we will try to match you up with a driver when you get there. This is another reason we have arrival starting at 5:45.. Also, is there anyone that will come to the Pre-meeting early that could be our "Car-pool co-ordinator"? .. Mostly, when people arrive, ask them: Are you a driver or rider? If Driver, is your vehicle full yet? If Rider, do you have arrangements yet? ... then try to condense vehicles going as people arrive. I can arrive early and be "car-pool coordinator' for you, Dave. What time do you want me there? I can take 3 extra people with me. Robinson (Highwayman), myself and 3 others.

Cheryl, please post when you confirm the Wednesday August 12th meeting, and I'll update the first post to include that as well....
The pre-meeting before the Trustees meeting should still go on... Because we have folks from out of town coming in (2 from PA that I know of at least), they can't make the 12th... But, the 12th can be the meat-and-potatos meeting, and the Pre-Meeting on the 13th can be the re-cap and "Follow this conduct" meeting.
