Last night on PBS found a show called Texas Ranch House. The series takes you to certain periods of time and are to be history correct although I have watched them before this one just isn't playing by the rules but they are fun to watch. The year is 1867 and a Texas cattle farm. Very interesting. On again tomorrow, haven't checked to see if they have a run of all of them on this weekend yet.

PBS has very good dialogue.
Especially the operatics, and...Andrea Boccelli, Andre' Rieu!

They are running that PBS "reality show" all week, pre-empting my BBC. Not amused at all.

But Jasmine learning about different time periods to me is fun. True in the past they use to stay on track for what was used and true to what life was then. But this one in one way was entertaining but lacked what the earlier ones use to have.

WVIZ has the BBC world news on at 11PM on most weekday evenings, unless it get bumped, say by a thinly disguised reality show! Currently it's my only source for news from a non-American perspective.

Jasmine do you ever read the BBC newspapers? I will pop over everyday to see what they have to say. It's nice to see that someone else likes to see what another country's take on views of the world..Not that I understand it all but hey if you know me then you understand.

Don't read their papers, but I do check their website a couple times a week.

It looks like you can watch the news from the BBC site. Look in the lower right hand coner. Along there is something about news videos. Also when I clicked on it it said something about a summery of the 10:00 news.
