So, anyone here a fan of Firefly? Who else is going to see the movie?
Britny and I will be catching it on Friday for sure. I hope it comes to Conneaut. If it does, I will probably watch it several times in the next week.

Had TV on for a while today and watched it again. Really like it, we even taped it so we didn't miss it but highly doubt Sir John will sit in a theater. A BIGGGG MAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I'm not much for theaters either. Usually they are uncomfortable, and going that long without a smoke can get agrivatiing. But for this I will go multiple times. The better the movie does. The better the chances we get the trilogy that Joss has planned.

I watch Firefly on Sci-Fi channel before the Friday night marathon. I enjoy it very much. Looking forward to seeing the movie.

I was a big fan of the short-lived series, and was upset when it was canceled. Definitely will be seeing the movie. Looks like they kept most of the cast. Hope it does better as a movie than it did on TV.
Trilogy? Did someone say "trilogy"? Sounds almost too good to be true!

Just rumor at this point, but all the cast are signed for 3 movies. And they did bring them all back, just that Book doesn't have much of a part this time around. His schedule conflicted with the movie shooting, so he only has a very small part in this one.

I am so mad right now Local theater is not showing this. Hell, the mall isn't even showing this. I have 2 choices. Go to the other side of Ashtabula, or go to Erie. Erie is farther, but they have an earlier showing. Ashtabula only showing at 7:20 and 9:50 on weekdays.

So Trev, you're mad as hell and not going to take it anymore, or you're just plain angry...

Gee, Trev, if you were coming to Erie maybe we could get together! My husband would probably love to "talk geek" with someone after the movie. Unfortunately, we're heading out of town for our annual anniversary road trip this afternoon. Looks like we won't catch the movie until next week sometime.... Erin

Ya Trev, Bunnie and I will probably catch the movie this Sunday. I DON'T do opening days. too crowed. We will catch the matinee, it's cheaper that way, and we usually have the theater to ourselves, well, maybe a couple of other people. HANK.

Went and saw it at 7:20 Friday night at the Ashtabula cinemas (not the ones at the mall, the ones on 20 near RT 45) The theater is a lot nicer than the last time I was there. Which was years ago, and the place was a real dump. Nice comfortable seats. Very few people there, which is kind of disconcerting since it isn't showing hardly anywhere in Ashtabula county. The movie was awesome! Everything I had hoped for and more. It was so good, I never even though about not being able to smoke! (that is rare praise for me, as it hardly ever happens) I wish it was showing closer, I could go see this dozens of times and not get tired of it.
