From what I gather, EVERYONE will be there, up to and including former roadies, long lost hotel maids, every musican they've ever played with and every living member of each of their families AND Great Aunt Clara's ashes!!!!!! Okay, that last bit is only a rumor, but it DOES seem like they're trying their damndest not to leave anyone out.........and having a field day doing it! More power to 'em, they certianly deserve it. Rock on, guys!

Makes me regret even more that I more than likely won't be seeing them when they come to town this October. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, and while the prices are not especially outrageous for a show of that nature ( Unlike, say, AC/DC! ) it's still more than I can go on $8 an hour part time. Prices start at $52.50, and with tax and all.................... Maybe next time..................

Blink 182 is not only working on a new album, but has just announced that they will be touring with Weezer later this year. No dates have been set as yet.
That actually doesn't mean a whole lot to me....not my style.....but I know it will to some people on the board. ;D

Rumor has it that Ozzy is one of the secret guest vocalists on Slash's new solo album. I'd love that!

Rumor has it that Ozzy is one of the secret guest vocalists on Slash's new solo album. I'd love that! Posted on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 12:07:37 EST VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitar legend SLASH is currently recording his new solo album in Los Angeles with Josh Freese (drums) and Chris Chaney (bass). An update from Slash reads: "Hey, hope you had a Rock & Roll Easter weekend! We've nailed 4 killer tracks with 4 amazing vocals so far, nailing another one Tuesday, so things are going extremely well. Everybody who has contributed vocals so far have been flawless and the rhythm section, Josh and Chris, are priceless. Eric Valentine is a genius producer, not to mention, his team is great. All in all this last couple of weeks have been a hell a lot of fun and we're just getting started. It's definitely going to be a kick ass record, if I do say so myself." Slash previously revealed via Twitter that OZZY OSBOURNE will be guesting on his new solo album.

Vern Gosdin died. Probably won't mean much to most of you, but for any fan of classic country, well, they didn't call him 'The Voice' for nothing! Bit of my childhood gone there.
