Looks like there might be one last concert for the year. www.erieevents.com/AnnouncementRetrieve.aspx?ID=30897Shinedown and Papa Roach + 2 other bands. In Erie. And I think we may be able to swing it for Brit to come home for the concert then go back to finish her finals. Before coming home for her winter break.

Actually, you were named farther into the review. Though I do have to correct the spelling of your name.

Today kicks of a whirlwind of live music for me. In a little over an hour I leave for Pittsburgh. Where I will be hitting the Uproar Festival rockstaruproar.com/www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4LbZALOXJQAvenged Sevenfold Three Days Grace Seether Bullet For My Valentine Escape The Fate Sevendust Black Tide Art Of Dying The Black Cloud Collective. Gates open at 2, and I figure the show will run to at least 11. About 9 houirs of live music in an outdoor venue. Then tomorrow, I will be going to Eastlake for the Rock Allegiance Tour rockallegiance.com/category/newsBuckcherry Papa Roach Puddle of Mudd Alien Ant Farm Red Crossfade Drive A That will be about another 6 hours of rock! This time at a minor league ball field. Never been to either venue before, so that will be part of the fun for me as well.

Well...Have fun and bring earplugs, cuz after that many hours of over amped rock music you'll be deaf as a rock by Monday.
Enjoy ;D

I almost wish I had brought ear plugs. This one was pretty loud. And I was pretty close. So, it was almost uncomfortable.

SO! How was your concert overload, still have any hearing left? Ya know, the only people on that list I've even heard of, and that's only because I've heard you and Britny mention their names before, is Papa Roach. If someone were to ask me for example what a Black Tide was I would tell them that's what ya get on the beaches in Mississippi after the gulf oil spill. HANK.

You probably are familiar with a few songs by some of the bigger bands. You just don't it, as you don't know who actually does the song. Three Days Grace, and Seether get a lot of radio play. Same with Buckcherry. Though that was moreso a couple years ago. I've got plenty of hearing left Friday was a loud show. Saturday, not-so-much. Had a great time at both. Though it did get a little chilly. Especially that Saturday show. The one in Eastlake. Once the sun went down, it cooled off quick. And being so close to the lake, there was a decent breeze to go with it. (stadium is north of RT2, so that is how close to the lake it was)

Oh I know where that stadium is. It's really not that far from my place. I get up in that neighborhood quite often as there is an O'Rielly's auto parts, and a Harbor Freight tool store just down the street from there. I've even been to a ball game there a few years back when it opened.
Yeah, I may had heard a few of those groups on the radio from time to time as I listen when I'm out in the garage, or in my car. But for the most part they never tell ya who performs anything. The DJ's will just babble about some inane crap you care nothing about anyway.
Glad ya had a good time. Bet Brit was disappointed she couldn't go.
HANK.
