Yeah, Lady C., I know Kid Rock pretty well, and, though I gave him a good chance, just didn't work......he's NOT my style. Got to give him points for hard work anmd professionalisim on stage, but still, not my style.
That's why I wasn't sure I was too thrilled with that double bill. Much as I love Skynyrd, I very much doubt I'll be going to that show. Concerts anymore are a big deal for me physically, and I WILL play for them for days afterward, so I'm a lot more picky as to who I'm going to see. Plus this is the day before a Faire weekend, and those alone are enough to kill me. Something like this, when I don't particularly like half the bill, well......................probably not gonna happen.
For anyone who IS intrested, the show is Friday, July 10th at Blossom. Tickets are on sale now.

Just heard about Judas Priest and Whitesnake in Cleveland July 14th. No real interest in going, but thought I would mention it for those that may be interested.

I wouldn't mind seeing that one, but major surgery on one of my cats, paid for.....and bless them for letting me!......with post dated checks, has probably effectively killed my concert going for the summer. Ah, but my evil little Raven is worth it!

I haven't had time to work on mine yet. But I had fun.
Not the greatest concert I have ever been to. And there were some issues. But overall, a great time.

Hey Dill. Just announced today that Alice Cooper is coming to Erie in September. So, keep your eyes open. I am sure he will be hitting the Cleveland area also.

Well, still not happy about missing my boys, but after the weather yesterday, I've got to admit I'm glad I couldn't go! First off, two or three hours on top of the hill in that godawful heat would have killed me before the concert even started. And then, of course, we had the monsoon...............now, I've been to concerts at Blossom in the rain, and I know how the whole crowd just sort of slides slowly down the hillside until you all finally end up in a heap at the bottom. Hell, you TWITCH, you slide three feet! And there I'd have been, perched up at the top in a bloody wheelchair. Can you see it? The thing starts to roll, Ivy hanging on for dear life frantically trying to stop it and plowing furrows in the mud, me screaming to clear a path as we pick up speed, right down the slope warp speed, until we finally gain enough to become airborn, sailing right over the barrier and crashing onto the stage, taking out poor, already abused Bret along with most of the equitment and the rest of the band!!!!! I think Bret's had quite enough already, being hit by three tons of screaming, flailing metal and mud covered Goddess' moving at the speed of sound is probably NOT what he needed right then. Guess it's a good thing I couldn't go..............................

I don't know Dill....You could uv been the "HIT" of the show. Most concerts anymore are more about the "Special Effects" then they are the music. And the scenario you described sounds like a "show stopper" to me. Hell, they could alter the name of the group to "The Poison Pickle Goddess" and you could tour with them, doing that schtick at every show. Oh sure, we might have to have you slide down a cable from the balcony during indoor shows.....but those details could be worked out. HANK.
