Well, we weren't there, so we don't have anything to say. But we want to hear everything!

Sunday was so much better than Saturday. Even though it was muddy. The Queen, Constance and I were kidnapped..it was so much fun...I mean...so scary! haha
Then Constance and I chased down Tristan and Lancelot for letting us get kidnapped. That was awesome!
Thanks to all the guys who played along with the kidnapping. You were awesome! And don't worry, my knee is doing well. ^.^

The weather on Sunday after the rain was fantastic and comfortable.
The kidnapping was amazing. xD I managed to help keep Tristan distracted until getting a very frightening "Get thee down" from the Governor. >.> My favorite though was when relaying messages between the bad guys and the king, I had to deliver the following to Arthur after they kidnapped Mordred in retaliation for the Duke kidnapping the ladies:
"Your sister says that she wants her sweet, lovely little pomegranate back unharmed so that she may love and spoil him. The Duke says he's expendable."
And the new chess "fight" was hilarious. Pub Sing was fun too.
All in all, fun weekend!

Woot! It was lots of fun. I sat in a puddle. It was fantastic.
I was also glitterfied. So Much Fun!
I also showed my outfit to the kids I work with. They wanted to know why I was dressed like that. So I just went into character. The other interesting part is that some wanted me to wear it for a week. I said no.

The rain did not ruin a great day, it just added some flavor. Elysium played a fantastic set inside the Black Ox tent during the worst of the rain, A little girl danced for the crowd, which was really cute. The storm took the worst of the heat and mugginess away with it and the rest of the Day was quite pleasant. After the parade some patrons were recruited into a plot to kidnap the queen and a militia of more patrons was raised to rescue her, what a blast ;D , Then the knights were given as ransom for allowing the queen to be captured in the first place; and forced to sing and dance to a song from Monty Python's holy grail, the only song they all knew was men in tights. The day ended with "Health to the Company" A wonderous end to a great half season.

Saturday was miserable for me personally, with the heat and a bump on the head. On Sunday I got my cloak from the Bored Housewife, just in time for the rain. Pretty good after that.
Do have one suggestion, though. Pond parking needs a parking attendant. People have double and triple parked for the last two weeks and the back row of the double got cut off both days this time.

I had a great week end, all my children, the two girl's BF, my ex, his children, children's children, bro and his wife and for a bit the ex's ex were all there Sat - so fun I love them all to pieces, even the exes! Then my friend/team mate from work came on Sunday and took videos of the chess match and tried to take a video of me telling a story ( I may have been drowned out by the new musician who runs over my timeslot, it may tho be edited as a great background - I hope. ) We ended up in the tent by Friar Pluck's having lunch to fabulous music and fun with Porter and Stout, and I had a captive audience for a story while they were on break. We were muddy, tired, hot, excited by the fun going on everywhere and with everyone. My friend really loved Barett, all the music, shows and characters. She had nothing but good things to say about GLMF at work today and is wanting to come back with some of her friends. I was so thrilled when the musician's sang my favorite song at pub sing (Skye Boat Song). Bagpipe music, men in kilts, great music all day, wow!! I love faire.

I aim to please. I hope someone got some good pictures and video of Sundays chess match, as I am dying to see what it looked like. Unfortunately I was a bit too occupied to watch closely.

Saturday was fun for me.. A couple hours, then off to the Cleveland Irish Fest. In garb. Where I made quite an impression on a bunch of people, and I got more free beer there than I did at GLMF 2007 and 2008 so far combined!
Then Sunday for me was kinda crappy. Okay, more than crappy. But that's what happens when you have to hobble around because you jammed your ankle at an Irish Fest.
I wish my ankle wasn't so mucked, because I wanted to go to the Viking Camp to ensure that their "guests" weren't being mistreated!!! GRRRR!!
