An amazing weekend overall. I had a glorious time. One might even say I felt radiant on Saturday... or Godly, I suppose. I thought that the Shire felt a little mptier then the previous weekend especially since the weather was so perfect, but I think that was just an impression and not the truth. I honestly think the kidnapping was even funnier for our failure. Plus Tristan getting Camelot Justice is always amusing. Your Grace, I am still waiting to hear what might be offered if I were to switch alliegence... All in all, we had a great time, and I was happy to see so many smiling faces. Nice to know that everyone has a great time!

I think part of that was the circus. The people that were in there to watch that were not out on the streets for the rest of us to play with.

The kidnapping has a life all its own now.. It just keeps growing and evolving.. Pretty soon it shall overtake the spot of best plot scene!
Oh wait, it just did.
And it spawns several smaller bits that splinter off in multiple directions. GREAT!

Tree top leather carver here again. (Eventually I will get to the library and set up my own account but for now...) This weekend things were definitely fun. In regards to the crowd...it did seem that things were lighter and that was also reflected by how well the booths were doing. From a worker's stand point I noticed everyone was a bit slower (in sales and in people wandering through) however participation itself seemed to be great which is always wonderful to see. If only I could find a way to disappear for a while to catch a show or some more of the bits (Like the kidnapping...lol). Lets all hope that we have a blast this weekend. (What with barbarians and beer and ruckus oh my.)

Ok, I actually have a bit of time to express some of my thoughts for the weekend.
First of all. How awesome was it to have Mitch and Patti back! I didn't get to spend huge amounts of time with them. I didn't want to try and monopolize their time. There were plenty of others who wanted to see and visit them, and they had a lot of shows to see as well. But the time I did get to spend visiting was definitely well spent and something I will treasure from this season.
The same with seeing Brian and Kris back on Sunday.
Also, for me personally, both days were something kind of strange for us. They were pretty much quiet, peaceful days. We just wandered about and sat and visited. The weather was great. And it was great to just sit and visit, and spend some quality time with some of our faire friends. Almost like we were gathering our strenght for the big final weekend.
