Well, other than being very cold and wet on the last half of the day Sunday, I thought it was a great weekend.
More to come.

First of all, the weather Saturday was awesome! The best faire weather I have ever seen. And it was a great setting for Joe and Dawn's ceremony. Which, of course, was beautiful.
Lots of fun to be found all around the shire. Many more old friends walking the paths again. Lots of hugs and good times at pub sing . . . . . . . . and a few tears as well.
Sunday started out really fun. Everyone had so much energy and was in such a great mood. Until the weather changed. I guess mother nature found a way to make leaving on the last day something to look forward to instead of dread.
And to those who were worried about me, and my shivering, shaking, and blue lips. Thanks for the concern. But as I said I am just fine. No ill effects from the weather. But I do honestly appreciate the fact that you cared enough to force me to go change.
To those I didn't get a chance to see before we left, I am sorry. I hope we will meet again and enjoy the magic that is Avaloch.

Last weekend was a blast. Even with the rain, us die hard Rennies had a grand time.
I agree about it being the best Faire weather.
The closing Pub Sing with all that hair flying was funny. (I love Steven's picture when he feels behind his head.)
I really enjoyed closing weekend.
I will say goodbye to those that left early due to weather.

Sunday was wet and COLD. I swear the temp must have dropped ten degrees within an hour! I was glad I stayed for pub sing, though. It was worth it!

Saturday was awesome. Sunday was cold and wet but I would not be anywhere else. By the end of the day there was not a dry spot on my body. I'm glad it rained at pub sing though, I was able to hide all of the tears that were freely flowing. Sue

Still waiting to see a video of the final pub sing. I can't believe someone hasn't uploaded it to some web site. It was one to remember. It felt like Woodstock with the rain and people refusing to leave and the performers taking up the challenge. With all the video cameras I saw, someone must have it.
Of course the rain could have ruined all the video cameras.
