Well, I never grew up on a farm. But lived near them, and spent some summers doing work on them, so I pretty much know the score also. My sister once had a manuer spreader dropped on her foot. I've had cows step on my foot before. I've baled hay, miled cows, and worked at a potatoe farm.
Farm work is not for the faint of heart, or the squeamish.
I just hope all keeps going well with his recovery.

I cannot say have ever been on a real farm, being from the city and all.
That is not to say I have not seen what machinery can do to a person. I have worked shears and presses and breaks, grinders and drills, mills and lathes and saws. I know some fellows you have lost fingers or more in those machines, but have been lucky so far, just a few nicks is all.
My prayers go out to Tip.

Have been checking in just not the right time to post with having my granddaughter, watching her. Well my thoughts, prayers and well wishes to Tip and his family because it hit's everyone in the circle of his life and they will need shoulders to lean on at times. Just thankful he didn't lose his life. Will keep Tip and family in my thoughts and prayers

Update on Tippie= he's doing much better, he is driving around, I have seen him several times and his spirit seems to be better. He is one of those people that would do anything for a friend, so this summer at faire, if you see that he needs some help, just go up and introduce yourself and lend a hand! I'm sure he'd appreciate it. The fruit booth will be up and running this summer, smoothies- yyyuuummmmm

Had the pleasure of having lunch with Pub Master Tip this past Friday! His smile, his laughter is truly a joy (not to mention the mischievous twinkle in his eye!) Despite the accident his spirit is impervious to it, his recovery...remarkable and his joy of life shines through! This is going to be a wonderful Faire Season! ((HUGS)) to you dear Pub Master!
