...I SUPPOSE THIS belongs in "Storytime"---- BUT I'm REALLY not sure...
---Here goes:
[There are numberous faeries ( and I DO mean NUMBEROUS!!!!!!...) I plan to do a thread someday listing many of the various types of Fey, but not TODAY... Still, here are a few of the worst ones that I can think of---]
---Redcap: He dyes his cap in fresh blood to keep it red and carrys a spiked enormous club for bashing heads...
---The Bad Faerie Queen: She is known by many names. In folklore and literature she is sometimes Queen Mab. In modern times, she is identified with gorgeous, volumptuous, sexy Mistress of the Dark types. Often, she is a vampire, and even a cannibal...
---The Nucklelavee: A giantic Scottish water-monster. He is one-eyed, covered with slime, and skinless. Wings and a half-formed human sprout from his stinky body. He drags his victims to the bottom of the body of water to drown and then, devour them...
---The Drugar: Another Scottish faerie. He waits at the edge of cliffs in the dark to trick travelers over the edge...
---The Banshee: Her name means "faerie woman". Her unearthly howl is sometimes heard especially before the death of members of certain Celtic families. She is also known the sit on the banks of streams washing the shrouds of those who are soon to die...
---The Grim Reaper: We all know who "Grim" is; don't we ...
---Jenny Greenteeth: She sits in the shallows of stagnant pools hoping to drag children to their deaths...
---Gremlins: (Oooo !!!----I LOVED that movie!!!...) But, aside from REALLY WRECKING towns, gremlins specialize in hiding your car keys and causiing your alarm clock not to ring in the morning...
---The Wild Hunt: Is actually supposed to be the Devil & His Red-eyed Horses & Hounds (also called the "Devil's Dandy-Dogs"). They are said to gallop across the skies looking for hapless people who should not be aboard on certain "Bad Nights" OR when there is a "Bad Moon On The Rise" (GASP !!!) ...[Credence Clearwater Revival---Ho !!! Ho!!!----DO YOU REMEMBER THAT GREAT SONG ...]...
(I plan to add more Evil Faeries LATER... ) Love, Suz.
