Just thought I should introduce my self. I go by Rahne on this board and also on the RF board. I just found this board a few months ago from the RF board following a link to check out GLMF photos. They are great by the way. I'll send a picture as soon as I get one, I usually take the pictures, so am not in many.
My actual name is Tonya, I live in a little town called Corry about an hour from Erie, PA, and have attended the GLMF for the past 7 seasons, holding a season pass for 3 of those years. I love this faire and the people that attend it are great.

Sir Trevor, Wild Rose is up and running, I've been helping them out the past few weeks and last weekend was the opening weekend. I've posted some info in the faire talk about it. Would love to have some of you come on over and see us. They are doing OK, but could use all the extra support that can be rallied.

Yes it is. We started attending 7 years ago and have come as much as we are able each year. 3 years we have had season passes. My husband works most weekends, at lest one day, and this is where he spends a good portion of his vacation each year. Taking days off to make sure we can get to the faire. Next year we are planning to camp the first weekend of the faire so we can be there early enough for the pre-faire tail-gate party the first day.

I will be sure to stop in and say hello. We have been attending the faire for several years, but have not really gotten to know any one else there. Several people seem to recognize us each year, and we always see people we recognize because they are regular attenders like we are, but it would be nice to have some folks we know to visit with. Faire is so much more fun when it is shared with friends.
Yay, I got my picture to work.

Well, next year stop by the pickle grove (near the Stumble Inn) and say HI to the Pickle Goddess (Dillasandra, on the board here. Does the Acorn American thread) She knows most of us and can point us out to you as we all visit the grove throughout the day. You might remember me. I dress like a pirate, and sometimes wear a talking RAT on my head.
If you are planning to camp the first weekend may I suggest our place. We are 14 miles from GLMF and on average we have about 12 to 16 people staying at our place on faire weekends, patrons, performers, cast, you name it. we have an indoor bathroom (no Showers, just a sink and toilet.) Bring your tent, and some food or drink to share and join the party. You want to get to know people, this is the place. PM me for more information if you are interested. Our place is real easy to find from Corry, just take US Route 6 West.
HANK.

That would be awesome. Thanks
Now I'm not sure if my picture is working or not. It was there and now it isn't. If you check the my space page there is a photo of me in the my photos and the Wild Rose page both are the same photo.

Thanks, Hank.....this is the Pickle Goddess - Dill, to friends - and welcome and by all means, do stop by the Grove next year. As Hank said, I can point out most of us on the board, and tell you pretty much anything you'd want to know. ( Including the dirty little secrets they don't want anyone to know....bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! ) ( Hey, just evil that way! ) Meanwhile, feel free to join us on this site's General Board.....it's where most of the off season action takes place, and fresh blood is always welcome. Of course, I mean that in the most innocent of ways.................

I will most certainly stop by the pickle grove and introduce myself and my crew. Depending on the weekend their are anywhere between 3 and 12 of us. I will look forward to making your acquaintance and meeting the rest of board members.
