Melissa from Enchanted Chains is the RESCU Foundation rep for our Faire.
(Her booth is across from Axle's stage.)
I am helping her raise funds and accepting donations for the RESCU fund.
For those of you that do not know what RESCU is about::In easy terms:
It is basically a fund to give health insurance to "rennies."
The people that make their living out of working at faires.
They rely heavily on donations. If you can donate anything to this great cause, please see me or Melissa.
The GLMF Rally will have an Olympic games for you to participate in.
Many of the vendors have donated their wares to this cause.
Come out and have fun at the RESCU Rally.
(They hold rallies to help raise funds.)

Tuesday, August 5th show starts at 8:00pm, doors open at 7:15pm
This is a benefit for the RESCU Foundation, a not for profit dedicated to the health and medical well-being of Renaissance Festival participants. Many of the performers you know and love from festivals will perform for one night only at the Gorton Center in Lake Forest, IL, to raise money for the foundation. Moonie, The Swordsmen, The New Minstrel Revue, and Doktor Kaboom are among the lineup. This is a rare chance to see these performers let loose and improvise, instigate, and inspire each other to the highest level of humor. You won't know what to expect, except that it's original, exciting and well worth the time to see. Don't miss it.
Notes
No assigned seating. Refreshments will be served before the show and at intermission. Sorry, no alcohol.
