'Fahrenheit 451', by Ray Bradbury, or trying to. His style is way too flowery descriptive for my taste, and I'm having a little trouble dealing with it!
When it makes me too crazy, I go read a chapter or two of something called 'Tall, Dark and Dead'. Nothing like a dose of trashy novel to make you appreciate real literature! ;D

Reading Sandra Gulland's Josphenine Bonaparte's series.... AGAIN. Can't help it! I get stressed I need to read French Revolution Crap! At least this time I read the side that survives.
And several State Education Documents that need re-worked AGAIN.

Don't feel bad....when I stress I tend to read or reread Brian Jaques.....20 some odd books that a friend of mine once sarcastically dubbed the 'Weasels With Weedwhackers' series!

Christy, Tanith Lee has a French Revolution book called the The Gods are Thirsty you might be interested in. Unless you've already read it. Lee is usually a dark fantasy writer, but this seems to be historical. But she's always an excellent writer no matter the genre.
