See, there's this problem I have that I'm never reading just one book. My current focus is on the HP book as of today, but I"m also reading The Sorcerer:The Fort At Rivers Bend by Jack Whyte, The Death of Chaos by L.E. Modesitt Jr., Death Be Not Proud: A Memoir by John Gunther, Silverlight by Michael Scott and Morgan Llywelyn, Evasion by CrimethINC (I don't know how I feel about this one), How The Irish Saved Civilization (again) by Thomas Cahill, A Gift of Wings by Richard Bach, and looking through The Journey Is The Destination from the journals of Dan Eldon which is more visual than a story, but one of my alltime favorites. Reading is wonderful for travel and for desert/book time with my housemates after dinner and before our city explorations. Or in the morning...or when the book's too good to put down...or...um...always. Unless there's a pool.

Sounds a little like me, I can never read just one at a time. Have to be careful though, sometimes I get carried away and bite off more than I can chew. Two at a time is my limit. I've been reading Science, Order and Creativity by David Bohm and F. David Peat, and Einstein's Moon: Bell's Theorem and the Curious Quest for Quantum Reality (also by Peat) concurrently. I've finished the latter and soon will be reading Peat's Blackfoot Physics.
I'm also an inveterate browser and tend to cross reference. Case in point. I've started browsing Peat's book on string theory. Not the whole book, just the sections on twistors (relating to the geometry of elemental particles and relativity) because I was intrigued by when I read about them in another book.
My reading tends to go in cycles. Right now I'm exploring creativity, quantum physics and the nature of reality. Previously I've explored Moroccan interior design, Cape Cod, books & reading, and various mythological subjects. Other times I go on a fiction kick (usually fantasy related). All depends on what's inspiring me at the moment.

i've been dabbling in the book "Bohemian Manifesto" by Laren Stover. it's interesting to read about the lives of french bohemians and their quotes and such.... also, i've been meaning to read "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom ( i read his other book, the famous, "the five people you meet in heaven" several months ago and i liked it). so that's what's on the list.

Get In The Van: On The Road With BLACK FLAG By: Henry Rollins. A great story about a man strung out and detached from life where his only recognizable life is touring and living at the bottom of the barrel for about 4 years. His real life as he wrote in his journals. it's F@#$ing beautiful.

Void-Watch the language, Laddie!!!! (Love Mom) As you know, I am re-reading The Once and Future King for the ?? time. Void's recommendation of Get in the Van is a good one-though I don't recommend it for those easily offended. Rollins has another book void read recently-Solopsist-which is also a truly interesting read.
