Well, drive your butt up there and "just Do It" as Nike would say! hint hint. HANK. I would be trespassing on private property...the hint was directed to John.

I'd have to agree with you about that, Sir Geoffrey! That's just one of the reasons I'd like to get to the Faire grounds to help with Spring cleanup. I'd like to see the place off season!

I don't think so. Nothing would be plowed or shoveled. You would probably be walking in at least calf-deep snow, probably knee-deep in several places. I've been out there when it is cold and snowy. Not really a lot of fun.

Knee deep hell!! Probably more like chest deep with the winter we've had around here. Might be a little less at the present as things are starting to melt around here. You're right about nobody going back in there to plow, so any snow that fell just accumulated. That place ain't pretty in the Spring, Trevor and I, and Hepz and a few others know that to be a fact. HANK.
I was just wondering...what with all the gas station roofs collapsing from the weight of the snow on them I gotta wonder how many trees are down out there, that storm last week packed some fierce winds.

With that thought, I wonder if any of the faire permanent structures held up...some were getting pretty bad, no thanks to Trumbull building department. Larry probably won't be able to rebuild if he can't get permits to do so.

Actually, from what I read in the one newsletter, the mild winter we had going until mid last month was taking a toll on the trees. The wet soggy ground was causing a lot of them to become uprooted. I think George has been trying to keep up with things as they happen though, so I think things will actually be in better shape this year than in years past.

Just noticed this post Hank and how true it is Ha!!! Folks you don't know how many times I thought if the mud was snow would it be better and then got to thinking at least it was starting to get warmer. That's the up side. And oh if you come out to help remember to have secure footwear or you might of all a sudden be walking in your socks

And oh if you come out to help remember to have secure footwear or you might of all a sudden be walking in your socks This reminds me. I still have some boots (along with one sock) stuck about three feet down in the mud under Griffins somewhere. Ahh....., fine memories from over a decade ago. Some things don't change.
