Oh Yay! How wonderful!!! The Midsummer Night's weekend is such a good idea! It will draw in the people who are more interested in dressing as Fae. Awesome!

Octoberfest? Oh John, please promise there won't be any "oompah" music, please!

No telling with Larry. I know I hope they don't end up stealing street cast for beer school again. Things like that are nice, but not when they take cast off the streets.

Good, lord I remember when a friend of mine on last year's cast did beir schule....he said some people there got rather upset...because they excpected something that a "beer sampling" wasn't. Like an all you can drink thing!

Isn't Larry's mom from Germany? I remember him telling me about wearing le-der-ho-sen once. (I'm not even going to try to spell it!)
I liked the oompah band... As long as it isn't near Silent Lion, Owain, or cast shows with no mikes, what's the harm?
I like that the October fest is the end. Kinda brings in the new season, the harvest so to speak. Although, I think that Ohio does it cheesey, I love the idea of the pumpkin vs watermelon weekend. The seasons changing used to be a big deal, it was important to acknowledge it back in the day. So, in effect it's own sort of historically accurate. Maybe have a Saxon revival or raid?
If we had German beers at Octoberfest weekend. THAT would be something worth going to see! (I'm appreciative of the Guiness, don't get me wrong, but commmon!!!)
