Hey Guys as part of the FreeLancers contract I am required to find six local Squires. So if you know any young men or women (15 and up) who like horses and would like to be part of the show but don't want to act, Here is their chance. They will be apart of the biggest show at the faire but the will basically help the knights on show days. Have them contact me at entertainment@medievalfaire.com Thanks--JOHN

Its really wonderful to learn from you John! Its nice to see the right way to do things, and how to handle the situations.

Hopefully this will generate some good interest and you will find who you need. I know in years past people have expressed an interest in squiring for the jousters. Though it is hard work with little recognition.

You should also look into stopping by the county fairgrounds (Lake, Trumbull, Ashtabula, Geauga) and posting ads at the 4-H clubs.

The local SCA groups would be a good place to get that information out to also.

I'll put a note out on the Cleveland (Cleftlands) and Geauga County (Eastwatch) SCA mailing lists.

Congratulations on getting the Freelancers as the jousting troupe, they are a top-notch group.
