A little birdie has told me that the overall theme of the faire this year will be Robin Hood, which is great...I think the last time they did it was in the late 90's....

Year 2000 was the last year that they did Robin Hood Theme. So much you can do with that story line. I was sad that they didn't do more with it.
Wonder how that is going to work out with the last weekend overlapping with Pittsburgh?

That's right Lady C. She's getting married. She'll be 22 on March 21. She's #4. The oldest will be 27 then #s 2 and 3 will be 23 and the baby turns 18 in August. No faire ceremony for her. John even said that he would like to wear his kilt but she put the kabosh to that. He has to wear a tux. Boy is someone going to be mad that day. He doesn't even like wearing shirts with collars since he has to wear one for work. She thinks the whole faire thing is -in her words- stupid.

Hep she said what?
Heck life is waayyy to short to be that serious.
I be po'd too if I couldt wear my kilt?
In the dead of summer...whoosh sweat city in a tux...
Has your daughter ever been to a FAIRE?
Did you explain that it's similar to an adult party only centuries ago?

Yes I did Lady C but I hate to say it she is very snooty girl. She use to be very down to earth type of girl but in 11th grade she met her best friend and she is snooty also to the point that most of Jess's old friends can't stand her. John went to school with this girls dad and John said he was the same way. If it doesn't cost it's not worth it. We just shake our heads at them.
Our daughter is so bad that the 1st ring she got from her fiance, she didn't even take it out of the box. Just told him that is ugly and take it back. He went Thur 4 rings till a full carat would please her. As you know me, my daughter and I are not very close obvious.

Must be true love. Cause if my wife would have said that to me, we wouldn't have gotten married.

No Trev his family has some money in our town and she has him whipped. John and I don't see it lasting. She isn't going to live full time with him for about a year after she graduates from Akron U and they can move to North Canton.Yuppydom here. Right now he has a trailer in Carrollton and depending on the day the excuse is she wants to finish school or there is taking care of grandpa who live close to the highway. That is why this marriage is such a joke and that boy is a fool. And the shame is he is a really nice guy. The kind that you WOULD want your daughter to marry.

I gotta agree with ya Trev... If some girl told me that, it would be adios baby! Get your own damn ring and marry yourself, cuz I'm outta here.
Hepz...I wish you luck with this...I foresee a lot of marital discord here. Let us know when they end up on the Jerry Springer show, okay? HANK.

Sorry Hank. Even though she belongs on Springer it would have to be Leno or nothing. sniff(nose in air)
Now she is working on our youngest to be like her. Their motto: Just do for me and screw you behind your backs. just shaking my head. We learned some things this weekend that they are saying about us. I"LL SURVIVE

Oh Hep. I'm soo sorry for that young man! There are SOME GUYS who actually put up with it! No respect it sounds to me.. That would NOT last in our home..when mine is not home I'm in charge, whole dif ballgame when the man of the house is back home.. Sounds like she'll learn the hardway! What's in that guys head,( I know he wants to make her happy-will she ever be?) doing everything she demands. sorry, but I CANNOT stand to see women treat another human like dirt! Has she ever heard, what goes around comes around? When they get fed up, they are down the road! If I was a male, I head for the hills running. It would be a cold day in hell, that I would treat my husband like that.. LC
