The truth of the matter is this....
There are four people (including Larry) that make up upper management. Brooke and I are included in this.
We do not make decisions on our own.
Fact: You guys don't like Brook.
We get that. It's been cleary stating..repeatedly.
He's not going anywhere. I'm not asking you to like him or agree with him. I'm not asking you to agree with any of us. What you all need to understand is that we do what we feel is necessary for the progression of the product as a whole.
There is a fine line between constructive criticism and attack. We ask for your thoughts because you see the Faire in a different light than we do. And like i've said many times. We do listen. I wouldn't waste my time reading the boards if i didn't care. We want to know what your thinking, it only helps us grow. But, I will say this, the constant negativity againt us has grown personal. We will get to the point where it's not worth trying to defend ourselves because this time "you" won't listen.
Everytime we do have an answer to your questions, there always seems to be someone to thwart back with a rude, petty, stabbing arguement. You wanted to know what acts were coming back. So we answered you the best we could. And most said thanx, but some still argued. You ask for input and when we give it, it's never good enough.
So I ask this, what's my motivation to come here when i'm always leaving feeling hated, defeated and like nothing we do matters because you would rather believe that we just plain suck.
Even if i could fix everything you see that is wrong and give you the ideal playground. Someone would still find a reason to attack us.
So what's the point?
Will i still listen....yes...it's my job, that's what we do.
Help us make this work. Stop attacking individuals, we aren't going anywhere. You can do this by giving suggestions and possible solutions or simply ideas.
We aren't the Bad Guys.
