As faire time approaches thought I'd throw two cents out for people who might need a place to stay, I've had friends stay at these places, or i've been to them for one reason or another....maybe it will be helpful....kind of my own rating system: 1. Comfort Inn (I 90 Austinburg) -- awesome place, I recommend jacuzzi rooms, but it's nice, clean, and the staff is very helpful. PET FRIENDLY 2. Hampton Inn (I-90 Austinburg) -- okay place, had some friends stay there once, they said it was "alright". 3. Buckaneer Campground (Jefferson) -- nice place, fills kinda quickly, great atmosphere, things to do if you're not going to the faire.... PET FRIENDLY 4. Thousand Trails Campground (Jefferson) -- well, really nice place, great grounds, security gate to enter.........but they do not take well to the Rennie set.........PET FRIENDLY 5. Sleep Inn and America's Best Value Inn (I-90 Austinburg) both of these places are new.....can't offer too much insite.

Thanks for the info. If you feel energetic sometime you could start a separate thread for each of those locations. That way, if anyone else has comments about one of them it will all be together and make it easier for people to get an idea of what the places are like.

I thougt Sword School stayed at a Best Western on Rt 45 but it couldve been the Comfort Inn.... It was across the street from the Holiday Inn that stayed in last year (but now apparently is gone) . There was a free breakfast with the Best Western or whatver it was. The breakfast was very good. No one looked at us funny for wearing garb. I am not sure if that qualifies as ren faire friendly

I edited things so it works. (PB has a problem with some special characters in URL's. But they work fine as text links)
