Was read the rat puck site again (do that a lot sometimes), when something struck me in this rule.
It says if you hit a faire customer it is a stroke penalty. What about cast, performers, or vendors?

as long as they aren't nobles you should be able to hit them all you want/

My personal thought.
Obviously patrons are not allowed to be hit. That would be, sadly enough...bad.
Vendors. Some are willing to play along, some are not. We'll have to feel that out throughout our playing to know for sure whether or not they are safe. My general thought would be they are to be treated like patrons.
Performers. See Vendors.
Cast. The cast knew last season and will know again this season what is going down. I'll make a point to explain the rules and find out if anyone has a problem with being smacked with a rat if it happens to fly their way.
I like the noble thought though. If they're peasants, no big deal. Heck, with some nobles around, we may use a peasant or two as a target!

I, being someone who has no prior knoledge of rat puck before seeing them attack my vargo, think that if a rat is flying my way or by my percious gypsy camp or other of my gypsy family, I shall stand between to protect it/them/me! Prepair for one big gypsy hazard worse than any sand pit in the history of golf... you must now face the wrath that is Rayke! hehehehe and more laughter of the evil sort.
(that is, as long as it doesent mess with the actual game so much, bit are bits but rat puck must live on!)

All very nice. But we decided long ago that gypsies touching the rats don't count. Gypsies are lower than the rats after all. ;D
