Ok.
I've been thinking.
The Stumble Inn area doesn't get a whole lot of use.
Right now, it's main intent is for people to set-up car pools and places to stay during faire.
I was thinking of expanding it to include services and items offered by our members as well.
I've noticed a bit of an increase in these kinds of things, but still don't think there is enough to warant yet another section just for a marketplace type thing.
So do you think it should be expanded so it includes offers for garb items (or anything else others might be interested in), services (such as making garb), setting up rides to/from faire, offers for places to stay over the weekend. Basically things offered by patrons/cast for other patrons/cast.
I am asking you, the members that actually use this board what you thing. Because regardless of what I think, if you don't like it, you won't use it.
And if you do like the idea, any suggestions for a name?

I like the idea. Name suggestion: Medieval Marketplace? The original Medieval marketplaces had everything: inns, tanners,blacksmiths,food & clothiers ,etc. All the merchants also gave directions.  Cheers, Kat |

Name suggestion: Medieval Marketplace? Yeah, that was the first thing that came to my mind as well. But I don't really think it fits what I am thinking the board will be. I can't really put into words what I am thinking in my head. So I can't really name it. So I am hoping that if you keep throwing ideas at me, something will click. |

When I think of Stumble Inn, I think "pub." If the name were changed, it might grab more folks attention. If it were to include stuff that folks wanted to sell, I'd be interested. Lord knows I love to shop!

I mean it is meant to connect those who have something with those whe want something.
IE
wanting to carpool
wanting a place to crash
wanting some garb
wanting to learn something
I just want to stay away from marketplace.
That is more along the lines of what the vendors are. And I don't want to step on the toes of the great vendors at our faire. After all, they make their living providing cool stuff for us to purchase.
And the section will be more than just stuff for sale.
Rides, places to stay, tips and pointers.
I figure it would be a good place to put stuff like the costuming threadl.
Members helping other members with advise and tips about stuff that relate to faire.
