And the bad just keeps comming. My sister-in-law has a condition that is crystalizing her lungs.Doctors don't know why. Well 2 days ago she went in to the hospital and yesterday she started declining with water in the lungs so they moved her to ICU and she was declining even more this morning so they put her on life support. Well this afternoon she crashed even on life support but they managed to bring her back but it isn't looking to good. If she even manages to get through the night we maybe looking at 3-5 days before my brother-in-law may have to take her off life support.
John and I are sorry but we will have to bow out of tomorrow's Halloween gettogether.

Crap! Don't worry about the party, you have bigger things to deal with. Hoping for the best here.

Dill,Lady C,Trevor a big thanks for all of your thoughts. We haven't had a call so far so just hoping the meds are starting to work. Trying to be brave for their 12 year old daughter is rough for my brother-in-law.Cristy is only 36 and if it does happen she will be the third in the last 2weeks for our family.

Wow, Hep! I sure hope she responds well to the meds. I've been thinking good thoughts for all of the Faire Family that I've been reading about in this thread.

Hep, you and John take care of each other. I mean it. This rate of trouble and loss builds up faster than you think it is and you will both need to get yourselves some decompression time as soon as you can. it doesn't need to be happy, happy fun but it does need to allow you to not dwell on what has happened.
And I recommend not worrying so much about who may be taking what from any estates. It's only stuff. Health and happiness are (as this thread is showing) so much more important than mere stuff.
We really need one of those counters that mark how many days since we had an accident in the workplace.

Beautifully said. And another thing, Hep, don't be afraid to ask for a little help now and then. If ever you need your friends, it's times like these......and you know we'll be there for you. Hugs to you and John.

Thanks Dill and blueguy. Just hearing your well wishes really helps. We dealt with her tempurture all day yesterday. It peaked at 104.5 but got it down to 103 last I heard. Decided my brother-in-law and neice could use some home cooking and since I had all that food we had a little family gettogether here.He managed to relax for a sec until his mother-in-law called causing heartache because he wasn't living at the hospital.Sounds like she is a real peice of work.Just have to wait for today and see what happens.

Well, we managed to knock off a couple of liquor stores and make a clean get away, (so far anyway) so it looks like the money part of getting my hip operation is solved anyway. So now we just need to coordinate everything with the surgeon and the hospital and GIT-ER-DONE as Larry would say.
I'll keep ya posted as things progress.
HANK.

I was afraid I was going to have to start stripping for tips to help you out. Don't suppose you grabbed any good booze before you made your get away, did you?! It'd probably make your recovery go faster. ;D
