A call for good vibes and get well wishes...
Pub Master Tip (you know him , right?)…Big teddy bear of a guy with an infectious laugh who ran the Crepe stand this year and usually does the Smoothies? Anyway…he had hip replacement surgery today. I’ll keep folks posted!

Speaking as a fellow hip replace-ee (10-28-09) Tip will be just fine. They will have him up and walking today and he will most likely be coming home by Thursday or Friday. Then he will go thru occupational therapy. Wouldn't hurt him to lose some weight either. All that excess blubber is putting a lot of stress on his joints. His life will be a lot better if he is lighter. I wish him him the best of luck. Been there, done that, and got the T-shirt to prove it. ;D No joke, the hospital really did give me a T-shirt.
HANK
P.S. Just out of curiosity, where did he have his surgery done?

Lady C. The front of the shirt says "University Hospitals JOINT CAMP." And the back says "The Best JOINT in town." And the word JOINT is spelled out in bones, like the crossed bones on a pirate flag. HANK.

Best wishes Lady C. hope everything is ok Thank you.. Passed stress test.. Been having chest pains, my Dr mentioned females do not have Same symptoms as men. Funny we went out to dinner yesterday, and had a slight re currency. Read my online report everything normal for my gender and age, aorta normal size, which is great for me, not a boozer or a smoker.never had been.. I look at it like this| as long as I can have my hair and nails done, face done,it matters not what is going on inside. No use to dwell on things. Keep on truckin'

Well, maybe you SHOULD care what is going on on the inside, that is where all the important stuff is. I'd just as soon not read on this board that you died of a massive heart attack but you had a great looking corpse cuz your hair and nails looked perfect. I for one am getting tired of going to Faire friends funerals. There have been entirely too many of them lately. Greg, Dillasandra, Jasmine, to name but a few. And the worst part is they have all been WAY too young. SO! Lets resolve to all take better care of ourselves OK? Look both ways before crossing the street, no alligator wrestling, and listen to what your doctor tells you. And try to be around for the upcoming Faire season. OK? HANK.

Aw Hank vanity is everything. If someone tells you they are not vain, don't believe it. They are full of BS!
I do take care of myself and everyone else.
I visit my primary when something isn't right.
We have longevity on my side. Well into the 80's/90's.
Im there for my family, most important now.
Other things on the back burner. I know my limits,I'm there..
