For those who didn't notice, or didn't see the error page that ProBoards put up, this forum was down for a few days.
The place that ProBoards contracts with for their servers suffered an electrical explosion which knocked out power (and a couple walls). It wasn't isolated to just ProBoards. There were over 9000 servers knocked out by this.
The fire department would not allow them to switch to their back-up generator because of the severity of the problem.
So the big delay was waiting for things to be repaired before power was restored.
Late Sunday, I had the option of putting up a temporary board (after ProBoards bought some new servers at a different location.
I decided not to follow that path though.
I figured it would just confuse things.
Having a temporary board, then having the regular board restored in a day or so, and the temporary board posts either being gone, or merged into the middle of all the other threads here.
Especially since this place is usually pretty dead on weekends anyway since the cast are at rehersals, and half the other members are at site clean-up.
Anyway.
We are back now!

do you really think if it were as simple as that i would even be here complaining?!?!?!!? I have tried everything I can think of including defraging the whole system!
