'Mistborn', by Brandon Sanderson. Fairly new name in fantasy, this is his second book, the first being 'Elantris'. Guy's good, if still a little rough around the edges.....really orignal stuff, a relief in a genre' that can be FAR too formula. Give him a try if you're looking for something fresh.

The Well-Worn Interior by Tim Whittaker and Robin Forster
A design book about the historical, lived-in look, with lots of wonderful pictures of old historical homes in England, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, and the United States.

Finished the Ackerman book, currently working on 5 books, which isn't as much as it sounds. Two of them are design books, one of them is poetry, and one of them is an anthology of short stories. The remaining book is nonfiction.

One of the GOOD nights at the library. Walked in, took about 5 minutes to find an armload of good stuff, topped it of with a new fantast/horror from one of my favorite authors, Tanya Huff. So I'm currently happily engrossed in her 'Smoke and Mirrors'. I love nights like that! ;D ;D ;D

Simon R. Green, 'Paths Not Taken' and The Man With The Golden Torc'. Very funny, detective noir, with a fantasy/horror setting.

Hey Kathy, check your Goodreads account, there's a recommendation from me about another Jim Butcher series you might be interested in. That is, if you don't already know about it!

You're welcome.
With all these books you're reading, maybe you could add them to your Goodreads list?

'The Salmon of Doubt', by Douglas Adams, released posthumously.
I love Adams, and his untimely death was quite a blow, so I was delighted to discover a bit more of his truly twisted brand of humor still out there.
Thanks, Jazz!!! ;D
