I know there is a Halloween party being planned for early October (will bump that thread up this coming weekend to remind everyone) Hank here. Since I am the one hosting the Halloween party I thought I should add my two cents in here. I plan on posting all the details concerning the party about the end of this month or the first week of September. The actual party will take place OCTOBER 7th. I for one am glad to see Faire over with. Not that I did not enjoy myself, but I have been out on site every weekend since early April, and consequently everything else has been put on hold. So now it is a mad scramble playing catch up. ( there is such a thing as too much of a good thing) So! Now with Faire out of the way I can put my efforts into other things. Like hosting a Medieval Halloween Party. For those of you who would like to attend the party but live far, far away and don't wish to drive home late at night, I can probably accommodate some of you at my place (bring your own sleeping bag and air mattress as I only have so many. Hell, I put up half the cast (and some patrons) for most of faire, whats one more night? . gh.

Well Trevor... obviously I still don.t have a handle on this Quote thing. So what the hell am I doing wrong now? I deleted all but what I wanted to quote from your post, added my comments to it and posted it and you can see the results. These *@#%$><+ @#~`+=>./% no good worthless pieces of &^*(/<"+#@ will drive you crazier then cars will!! HANK.

I fixed your quote Hank.
You did everything right except you added your comments before you closed the quote. There's a little more code after it that says [*/quote] minus the *. That's what closes the quote.
Next time, just make sure to put your comments after that, and it will work fine.

Not to be picky, but any reason why so early in the month as opposed towards the end of the month, closer to the actual Halloween date?

because people have other things going on that were going to interfere so we wanted it in October but not to conflict with our usual haloween activities.

Britny...Thanks for your assistance with my post. One day I might actually get the hang of this thing. (But don't hold your breath waiting)
SirGeoffrey...The reason for the early date was kinda what SwordSchoolGroupie stated. Plus, by doing it early in the month the weather should be still fairly good and those of us with light weight Summer costumes (Like me and SSG) can wear them and not freeze our butts off. So, since it is going to be in Middlefield (A loooong drive for you, no doubt. snicker, snicker) hope you and yours can attend. HANK.

Well, I looked and figured out why I had trouble finding the thread about the halloween party. There was never a seperate thread. It was part of the thread for the last sword school seminar. So, when you get a chance Hank. I look forward to you starting a new thread about it.

Can't yall just kill a cow and use the hide for warmth? ;D Well I suppose we could. But the Amish farmer who owns the cow probably wouldn't like it too much. And the cow ain't big on the idea either! Plus tanning is a long drawn out process. So I guess we will just stick with the early date. Would like to see ya there, but if ya can't make it, well, I guess we will just have to miss ya. HANK. Thanks again for the help Brit. I previewed this and it seemed to come out all right this time. (at least in the preview. Let see what happens when I hit "post reply" Here goes!

Well...it still looks like I didn't delete quite enough since we have a bunch of numbers and gobbledygook at the top of the quote. Maybe one of these days I'll get it right. HANK.

yay, finally able to post, my computer at home doesnt work very well, so i finally am at the library almost the weekend after but neways the final weekend was great saturday was a bit normal from what i've heard and seen of final weekends, sunday was great, i cant believe the jailors got me when i was trying to sneak past the jail with the sneak song played by alan, it usually works pretty well, then i had to belly dance again, now i need a faire fix already, but this year again was great, i enjoyed doing bits with the cast, especailly on the last day, for any of those who weren't there before the final chess match, i proposed to Ms. Laura Wylde, ( in faith ) and if any of those people who were for that happened to get any pictures of that, if you could send them to me that would be great, and i cant wait til next year and congratulatons to Dani and JR
