Hey there orourke. Welcome to the board.
So, you're planning on doing clean up crew? Cool. Always nice to have more help. Don't worry, it's not that hard. Just follow what Sarah/George tells you to do. And glad to have you helping to Kat.
Look forward to seeing you there/at faire.

Yeah, don't worry about not knowing what to do. We've been doing it for a couple years now, and we still don't know what to do

Thanks, guys, for the warm welcome! Yeah, I'm sure I'll be fine during clean-up. I mean, how hard can picking up sticks and raking leaves be? LOL.

Oh come on Trevor, my first time helping clean-up crew it wasn't so bad. If I recall, the leaves were dry, we had the dumptruck, and we already had the piles done by then...

Greetings all of my darlings! Just to let you know who I am (I decided I had spent enough time lurking.....lol!) my name is Jenny and I was but a mere patron last year and the year before. Every year I come back to GLMF.....I get sucked in a little further and a little further untill....poof! Before I know it I am caught! Proof positive is this year I will be purchasing my first season pass...and may even end up working as a merchandise vendor for one of our musical acts. Don't know for sure about that yet as the final negotiations have not come to pass. Either way, I will be making the LONG drive up to Geneva every weekend this summer and cannot wait to see all of you there!!!

so... i dont really know why im awake at the moment because its just turned 6am where im at... i guess i wanted to re-introduce myself! im earl! for those of you who know me... hi! sorry i vanished off the face of the earth... for those of you who dont know me... well... you might have heard stories of me... and if you havent heard stories of me... ask someone who knows me and they can probably tell you... many. so... ive been traveling alot... i havent been back at faire for almost 2 years now... and ive been really bad at keeping in contact with people... i was on cast for the 05 and 04 seasons as Captain Black Jack, and Ghengis Kahn. basically, after the faire season ended in 05, i packed up most of my life and moved to ireland. i was there as an international student and was studying at the Gaiety School of Acting and at Trinity University in Dublin. i was working for the Dublin Fringe Festival and was able to make alot of great connections, which led to my taking a position as an performance intern with a theatre company in Cardiff, Wales. after relocating there and finishing my contract with performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, i managed to make it out to Boulder, Colorado, where i am currently residing, working, performing, and finishing uni. so... lately ive been missing faire. ive also been feeling a bit guilty for disappearing and not staying in contact with everyone ive grown to know and love. ive basically been reading posts and threads and catching myself up on everything thats happened so far, which has been quite an adventure! annnyways... hopefully i'll be posting more often (and not while im half-asleep). much love -earl

Hey, Earl, you have been missed both on here and on site. It was always great seeing your smile coming down the lane. I hope you get by to visit us sometime. Have a fun time where ever you travel. Glad to hear that things are going so well for you.
