Hmmm...let me list 'em. ;D Meeting new friends from the various forums I visit. It was a pleasure, I can't wait to see everyone again! Owain! The Bardic Wind/Aerial Angels show. Dancing with Angel and her little ones at the Rogues show. Taking my little cousin to her first faire, seeing her eyes light up and asking me when we'll be coming back. The Tortugas' last, insane, "R" rated show! Of course the final pub sing, with Merlin taking the stage, Yaya presenting the quilt, The Washer Wenches being serenaded by the Elvis look alike, along with the toasting, tears & hugs.

The two moments that made me laugh so hard I cried:
Blind Peasant Danicng -- We were all tired and getting really silly by the end of the day and decided to the last dance show with our eyes shut.
The Real Bardic Wind -- During thier very last show of the season, Lauren, Eben and I crashed the stage and tried to convince the audience that we were the *real* Bardic Wind. Hilarity, cute-bum checks and rock-juggling insued. They also lit Binkie on fire!

I'm a little self centered when i say this but...
the blacksmith pushing in the mud... because of the expressions on the royalties faces... i dare say some of the cast broke character laughing so hard.
just every time i screw with him... don't let the Pooka find out!!!
what made it more funny was Eben played right into it and made it even funnier!!

The Real Bardic Wind -- During thier very last show of the season, Lauren, Eben and I crashed the stage and tried to convince the audience that we were the *real* Bardic Wind. Hilarity, cute-bum checks and rock-juggling insued. They also lit Binkie on fire! I saw that.....you guys were hilarious! The last Bardic Wind show was the BEST...even after Brandon D. accidentally swallowed a mouthful of torch fuel.... I'm so glad I was there, even it meant that I had to RUN across the shire to get to pub sing afterwards. Seeing the King and Duke in jail was funny. And huzzah for Dippy! Although the double-jointed arm girl *might* have been more impressive than either of you..... ;D Music! Owain, the Rogues, Menagerie, pub sings...I was in heaven. All the time I spent in Olive's garden, chatting with Brandon K., Vince (dulcimer player for the Arial Angels), and anyone else who happened to drop by. Meeting people, and hopefully not becoming a pest to any of them. I think my 2 MOST favorite moments were a bit more "private" -- but I'll share anyway. I'm always taken by the magic of the shire, and this year I had two memorable encounters. First, I was sitting under a tree by the Drift Inn stage on Sunday waiting for a Scottish Mayhem show to start, and I was watching some kids on the playground through the trees. It was so neat -- they'd come down the slide, looking like millions of other kids, land, and scamper off.....and as they'd turn, you'd catch a glimpse of fairy wings, or a furry tail. It made me smile. Second, when I was sitting in Olive's garden, another lady looked at me and commented that I had "the face of a doll." (Now, I neglected to ask what KIND of doll....I hope I didn't remind her of a scrunchy-faced Cabbage Patch Kid or something). Anyway, I just smiled and thanked her and didn't think any more of it....until I was leaving that night. You see, my grandad had a pet name for me - "Doll". And he passed away last spring. I swear, I practically had to stop in the parking lot and cry. (Good tears.) So there ya go....my faire, complete with goofiness, smiles, and tears. Sorry to ramble.... Erin

Favorite moments? Everything. Seeing old friends again. Making new friends. Playing rat puck. Especially when random paytons would walk by and say "They're playing rat puck again." The wedding was great. Of course I can't forget all the things we made Paige do.
