I take it you were one of the many great people that served the food.

The whole season was great.
I would like to thank the staff of The Great Lakes Medieval Faire for a wonderful job. Without their hard work and dedication the event would not be possible.
Huzzah Huzzah Huzzah
I pray that we may ever meet there again.

Final weekend was the craziest, most fun, and most sad of them all. All wrapped into one. The energy could be felt in the air on Sunday. I really missed that. The insanity. The not knowing what was going to happen next. The constant, non-stop action and activity. There really was never a dull moment. I haven't felt that way consistantly since 2003 (while I understand why the schedule is the way it is, still doesn't mean I like the lags between show times)
Seeing all the old friends over the weekend was great.
Pub sing which was packed, extra long, and completely awesome. It had fun, it had very touching moments, it had Health to the Company, and it had Merlin!
A huge thank you to all who made this happen. Cast, performers, vendors, booth workers, food workers, patrons, parking guys, security, garbage guys, managment, friends and strangers alike. THANK YOU for making this season fun.

This past faire season was wonderful for me! I enjoyed the play and the freedom that being a patron allowed me. It was the best of both worlds!
And, the Rat pucking! Thanks to all who helped me along and helped me loose my virginity (in pucking- get your head out of the gutter!). Such awesome memories I will always carry with me!
All of you who have become such wonderful friends and family through the faire, I wish you a most wonderous coming year, take care, be safe and we shall see your smiling face again next summer! Huzzah!!!!!!!!!!

Last day was really rather magical, wasn't it? Those of us from last year who invaded as cast-for-a-day all had an absolute blast, I know. I had almost forgotten how amazing it is to be an integral part of Avaloch, I adored going back and breaking in Leilana, the new gypsy!me. I got to run around the shire all day, play with patrons, be best man at the double wedding (including throwing the best bachelor's party ever), jingle, hide, tell fortunes as the Tree of Doom (always right! I see in your future... Today... you will... walk. Probably a lot.), and have a general amazing day. For me, it was a 23 hour day from leaving the house to getting in from the end of it all, and I haven't had a better one in ages. Thanks to everyone. I love my Faire family, and I miss all already.
