Why does the newspaper run these articles on the LAST day of faire, or the day after it is OVER WITH? At that point the advertisment does not one bit of good.

I was in a couple of the videos... and yes, the exposure would be nice earlier in the run, but, hey, any positive coverage is a good thing. They did focus on plans to make next year even better, so hopefully some of that will stick in the public's minds.

None of that will stick for 11 months. it may place a note of reminder after they see a handful of ads before next season starts but the truth is that the general public does not retain information for things they did not directly experience and often forget that as well.
