Ok, it's time for that week we both love and dread...final weekend when the barbarians show up and sack the place. I got plans, you got plans, the cast has plans so let's all plan on having a great time. Laugh together twice more, share the spirit (and possibly spirits) without moaning over how we shall miss this (because we all know it but living in denial is occasionally a good thing). Besides, between halloween, 12th night, NE-geek, and the o-renn crowd it's not like we are all sitting at home in our basements. So see you saturday. (and if anybody wins the powerball before that, remember that you were always my favorite.

If I win the powerball my plans involve a lot of time at faire...
If I don't win the powerball, my plans still involve a lot of time at faire, but spending less money.
Watch for Shenanigans near and around Pirate Cove!

I saw some amazing things I may never see again yesterday. I also signed on as an unofficial evil henchman for part of the day. (and I totally lack enough red and black garb to make a habit of taking the red side). Looking forward to a ridiculous number of goodbyes today, some laughs and seeing some magic happen in the streets.

Had an awesome day. Will post more after I have some sleep, as I just now got home.
Then I can tackle the 466 pictures I took today (and that isn't counting the 49 I took for Andrea)

Best season in several years. I apologize to the likely dozens of folks I didn't catch on last day to shake hands and or hug goodbye. I sill love all of you, I was just not in the right spots. We will meet again when the time is right to do so and miss one another in between. And I am noticing like 100 peeks at this thread with little comment from the rest of you so chime in. Tomorrow I shall see to listing a season long comment on people and events that made for a great year.

We didn't make it to GLMF this year...finances, unavoidable home repairs, and traveling with a toddler all conspired to keep us away. But we were with you all in spirit as we visited the Sterling Faire yesterday! Glad to hear you all had a great season out there!

I just realized. You never swung by the soap booth on your way out. [pout]

I did swing by the soap booth on the way out. You were still at stumble when I departed. I have at least 2 projects to build for next year in mind already. Started looking for parts today. Both are drinking vessels of epicness. I'm sad folks can't make it but totally understand the conspiracy life runs to steal fun. But, hey, Sterling... I never get to go there either.

It was a great weekend, despite my having a mild sinus infection. (Actually, I'm probably doing well to have not picked up worse due to lack of sleep and the amount of energy I expended this summer.) While one of my planned shenanigans fell through, it was a lot of fun. I'm already neck deep in plans for next season, too.
