Ok, it's sat. Morning. There have been over 3 inches of rain in the last 6 hours at the faire. It is going to be wet, the parking is going to be a swamp. I will need to skip today to repair flood damage at work so have fun folks. Small chance I will get there late tomorrow (smaller chance I pop in tonight in civvies around time for pub sing). Lots of fllooding out this way in low areas so be careful on the roads.

All I know, is it's nice and cool, and the humidity is gone. I am psyched. Ready to hit the lanes and have some fun!

Got myself there for a couple hours yesterday and the grounds held up really well. CIRCA PALEO is in the house, the new golf couse has been laid out (with free play), there are new tiny fairy houses back in that part of avaloch where fairies flutter about, a stage has been stolen by the gypsies and placed in their camp. And you sould be there with us having fun.

I had an amazing weekend. Not much of a crowd on Saturday. Probably scared off by the weather. But I loved it. Cooler, and much less humid. I didn't care about the bit of rain we had around chess time. Really good crowd today. Again the weather was great. So nice to finish a faire day and not be sweaty.
Both days I had great fun playing with the cast all over the shire. Visiting with friends, and even watching some shows. Heck, I even did a little shopping. Didn't find anything yet that I want to buy, but I am actually looking in booths and checking prices. A rare event for me.

I like it when it rains at the GLMF. That means a cooler day. I'm always happy to see rain on a Faire day because I'm used to the temps being in the 90s. Sunday was nice. Temps only in the mid eighties,---it seemed like a blast of refreshing winter!

Captain Red Shirt (temporarily) became a commodore this weekend. It seems the pirates are not just inept at sailing, but also at protecting their land-locked ship from capture and resale...

Now, I am no maritime law expert, but according to Barry Zuckerkorn (he's very good) that would fall under "finders, keepers" and is totally legit. But what do you expect from pitates on shore leave?. They immediately abandon their posts to look for fun and trouble. Sunday was a nice crowd and I saw several irregular guests in very nice roman style dresses (and a group of guys that apparently split one economy pack of green toga sheets who deserve points for theme).
