We had no real plans for what we were going to eat yesterday. After our first couple events, we decided it was a good time to nom so Niece the Younger opted for a corn dog, Niece the Elder got an italian sausage sandwich and onion rings and after seeing Sir Trevor walking by with a plate full of cinnamon rolls, I ended up getting a caramel nut roll.
Later in the day, the Younger settled for just a chocolate malt while the elder scarfed crepes. I wanted to get a sheperds pie but they were sold out so I wandered down to Friar Plucks with the intention of trying the pulled pork but he was sold out of that as well. I ended up with chicken, stuffing and corn from Plucks. Most delicious!
There was much lemonade, tea and cider consumed through out the day as well.

Right up there with MDRF which offers amazing food including fresh seafood like oyster shooters, steamed shrimp and crab dip, GLMF is the BEST of any of the other Faires I go to. I never have a difficult time finding something to satisfy my tastebuds...From the awesome (and HUGE) Creekside Crepes/wraps (both sweet and savory) to Olive's wonderful offerings to Friar Plucks, I can feel good about grabbing something to eat that isn't fried! Now...to get the Pubs back so we can go back to "Dinner and a Show"...
