A little more clarification. The places that require the Avaloch Notes are the ones affiliated with faire. (I say affiliated as some are not directly run by the faire, but do use faire equipment, inventory, etc) Black Ox is independant, so is Piper's Pub (which you could have gotten root beer at for $1) Not sure about the fruit place down by Stumble as I have never actually patronized it yet.
Also, most of the lemonade stands are pretty good about giving ice, if they have any to spare.

Trevor. The Fruit place next to the old pickle grove site does accept AMERICAN MONEY. And the treats they sell are damn good. I ate there, or at Black Ox. My personal policy is I refuse to use the Avaloch money.Never have, never will. If you DO NOT accept American money I simply do not buy from you. Besides, most of the faire food is just fried grease, which I really don't eat anymore.

I did not get to say goodbye to quite a few people . I was so busy saying goodbye to others. I will miss some of you so very much. Ok, gushy stuff done:::: I thought this season was great. The cast was most excellent. The choir was very good. I caught their first show a few times. Never seemed to make it to any other choir performances. I enjoyed the stage acts. I hope DeVinci returns for next season. I spent more time visiting friends this season than any other. That was very enjoyable.

This Faire season just flew by; I can’t believe I was never rained on!!!! I think that’s the first time that’s happened to me since the Faire began. Did I miss something where did the rides go?

I got rained on 5th weekend, and it was awesome. Felt great and really cooled things off.
As for the rides, they disappeared during the week before final weekend. Word has it that they probably will not be returning.

KAT. DeVinci was OK. I am a little annoyed with him though. Where the Hell does he get off blocking off some of the seats so people can't sit there? I will sit where I damn well feel like it, and if you have a problem with that than I just won't bother attending your show.

Not sure that Bob even initiated the taped off seats to begin with but I can understand wanting the audience to be more centrally located especially for an audience participation heavy show that he performs, just to help save his voice. That's alot of projecting he has to do! Since those seats were usually in the sun...I had no problem with it. I actually thought those seats had been taped off because of the dead trees that are close by and I thought they were trying to avoid having branches come down on folks. Speaking of dead trees...I wish Larry would stop bringing in all that gravel...the limestone is leeching into the water table causing alot of the trees to die off, not to mention that stuff is a PAIN to walk on!
