I personally feel it's time to use our rights as American people, and protest the township trustees.
Does anyone have the information necessary to back up a public protest, get permits, get the media, and go march on the township hall?
Can we get a few hundred or more people to angrily (but peacefully) march holding signs that tell of governmental misconduct? And have the courage to do it?
It's time to stop posturing and fist shaking, and time for action. It's now or never.

Yes, we did try all those tactic last year and it did not work. Further, Clay and Tamburrino got in again despite other efforts. At this point, we do not have much to fight back on. We have spent our time, and no one in higher authorities seems to care much. Trumbull trustees can continue to use township ,money to fight and they can continue to get away with it. At this point in my opinion, which I understand means squat, Larry should either consider moving the faire, (I have heard rumors it is up for sale), or just give Trumbull a fair amount of sales directly because this isn't going to stop, it's just hitting a brick wall constantly and going dry, sorry kiddies, WILL end the faire. So just come to some agreement with the scrumbags already, it's not worth the time and effort any longer to keep fighting a losing battle.

And yes, we love our faire, but face it, season pass holders alone cannot keep a faire open. I am assuming that all faire lovers/pass holders spend frequently at vendors, crafters, food and drink, but do we do the same level as the masses exploring for the first time through the gates? No, look at your garb, how much is purchased at the faires? How much online or EBAY? We need to look at the big picture, just saying we love our faire and we will fight for it will NOT keep it open. Rallying for our love of faire is nice, but is it realistic now? Yes I am willing to fight for the faire, but at this point concessions and bygones need to be made to keep it open.

If Larry does sell the property-sell it a pig farmer.. Look closely @ zoning be 4 selling.
Move the faire OUT of Trumbull Twp-
This is going to be a thorn in the side issue EVERY SEASON~
After this season, I look to major major changes. All positive :0
Hang in there--don't get disappointed..From Larry's prospective things have to start looking up..

I saw LOTS of families at the Faire this year ! I think that's a very good thing !!! And, we have an such an enthusiastic Cast !!! I watched them interacting with guests all through the lanes... I LOVE it when you leave the Faire at the End & the Cast is singing !!! It's something so happy that people really remember !

I shot an arrow into the air, it fell to earth, I know what where ....OH....but wait....I do know where. Here we go again folks, same old same old. Saw this in the Star Beacon today, Thursday, July 15 2010 in the sheriff's column. Here goes..........A Rock Creek resident told deputies he found an arrow sticking up in his rear yard he believes was fired from the nearby Medieval Faire. The Faire's property abuts this man's acreage on Route 166, deputies said. The man inquired about a possible court injunction or restraining order aimed at the Faire's archery concession, deputies said. The man inquired about a possible court injunction or restraining order aimed at the Faire's archery concession, deputies said. The archery vendor was notified of the complaint. Well, it's a trick they pulled last year, guess they are at it again. But now we know where arrows fall....they all go to Rock Creek. Some people just need a life.

little update for everyone.
It appears the lawsuit with the trustees over the beer money is finally over. the appeals judge took a long look at the failure to allow a pretty key witness and threw things out.
The trustees get nothing out of this. (no idea if they will get looked at for using all that money on a law team outside the prosecutor's office. being a civil issue they may have had to do that. I am not up to speed on how townships handle that stuff)
There was a hiccup with the state over who and how the charities were paid and how the money was processed which involved some sort of fine that I am not privy to knowing about.
But all in all, this should be a done thing now.
