I'm glad that Larry is the King again. Sorry we have the same lame jousters this year. I probabaly won't waste my time there and that's a shame because jousting is what sold me on the faire to start with. I understand that money is tight and therefore TPTB must keep within a budget and still provide a great faire and I will enjoy the other acts. I am definatly anxious for faire to start and it is what keeps me going these days. I need something to look forward to more than ever right now. I hope to be able to make a couple of new dresses for this year and I want to purchase a new kilt for Bill from the kilt guys that were there last year. Sue

Just remember...there is no such thing as a bad faire, just some that are better than others. With the cast & crew we have for this year, it looks like it will be the best ever! Thanks so much Scott & staff for all your hard work. Sir Michael

So no Maidens 4 this year? A top act that always drew a crowd, not coming back? Fail.

I have to admit that I am sad to see Maidens IV is not on the entertainment schedule at this time (think Celtic weekend) but the addition of Terry Griffith (who is beloved in PIRF) and Forsythe Special, will be greatly appreciated. I am less familiar with the other performers but these two are first class! Stick around long enough and you will see changes. When one group goes it opens the door for a new one. I was less than excited a few years ago when Emuziki was first listed but we absolutely love to see those performers (regardless of the multiple name changes).
P.S. To Lurker: There is nothing wrong with expressing your displeasure. All input is appreciated, but the absence of one group does not make or break a faire. Give others a chance before you grade so harshly. Just my $ .02

I did not see the jousters last year. I think I may try catch them this year.
I have heard of Terry Griffith and am looking forward to that show.

Anyone else notice that August 8-9 is no longer called Roman Holiday? It is now called Ancient Discovery. Hmmm ... wonder what that means, or maybe it is just a name change, same theme.

It's still Roman themed. Rome B.C. is usually referred to as 'Ancient Rome', so yeah.

People....It's just the same ole Madison Avenue advertising crap. Change the name and tell 'em "It's New and Improved" when the only thing really new is the name.
HANK.
