For those of you who subscribe, (or just love the 2 fuzzy guys), Renaissance Magazine gave an absolutely GLOWING review of Porter and Stout in ther magazine! That is a HUGE accomplishment. (Especially since I think the re-viewer doesn't "like" anything...) I am so proud of you guys! Your songs are listed by name.
Page 78 says, "'Treasures' will tempt you to raise yoru glass and sing along with these amiable would be bucaneers.... it becomes a poignant plea to scape to a time of innocence. Entanced by the clean melody, this track invokes a yearning for freedom from worldly strife.." ......
Page 79 says "... Begining to end, it is a voyage worth taking!"
Well done gentlemen! Nothing but wishes of continued success!

I just saw them at Tenn Ren Fest....and they are like old cheese and cheap wine....it gets better with age. Seriously...they sound excellent and have great onstage chemistry. Must be that female pirate with them! Jenny keeps them in line....I think....hmmm? I did not know about the review, so I will have to congrat them at GLMF.... And....Christy...and educated lass such as yerself should know that "congratulations" is spelled with a "t", not a "d". Love ya...had to pick on ya... *smooch*

Well shucks. Thanks to all those who make us who we are, that's who deserves the thanks! We may have talent (or not, depending on who you ask) but it is the fans who support us, the directors who hire us, and the fates that let us do what we do that we owe the thanks for our success. Without all of them, all we're doing to playing guitars in empty space.
Hey Pete (I know Christy will be reading this at some point) if I haven't already called you, I will be . . . I've just been tied up. Talk to you all very soon!
thanks all!

Yeah, my spelling was all over the place! The kids were playing and jumping on the key board. (That's right! I'm blaming the kids for my typos! Those of you who know Kat and Ella, know of what I speak)
Hey, I spelled "poignant" correctly!
