You know its very interesting to see everyones view point and it certanly helps with the forward motion. It is sooo exciting to see everyone starting to get really excited about what is coming and all the hard work that John is putting into it, along with many others behind the scene. And yes a big thank you to Sir Trevor also! Without you, I would know who anyone was!

Still would like to get fliers or pamplets soon so we can advertise sooner. Sorry but we only have 109 days and still have nothing to hand out.

In Marketing their is a definite too soon factor. Any pamphets, Brochures or flyers lose impact once you get five to six weeks from the event. Also Paper media is the lowest returning advertising of all that is done. On a good paper campaign you are lucky to recieve a two percent return. farther out it is even less making it really wasteful spending. They are a Necessary tool but impact still must come into play. The goal is percentages. Live promos return approx. 3-4% return. So the goal is to get as much TV/radio air time as possible The percentages are about the same but the numbers of people reached are higher. Word of mouth close to the event 4-5 weeks out will do the most for the show. Dave I still want promo stuff from your group. Looking for cruise pirates.

In that case...I will just make up a flier at work and post them throughout my work anyways. I will wait until the end of June to post them on our bulletin boards.

John Once the fliers have been printed, again I will distribute in the Cle area, as I 've done in the past. I distribute in the local grocery stores and the airport. The airport is a great place to advertise.
I do not need a license..I drop them off at our t/c..Since I know everyone there. The employees alone love it!
Please privately email,so I can pick them up at the office.
